I was thinking Bali as crowd tiny island full of tourist. I was wrong. I found wonderful places with this book, told me how to find a good accommodation. Sweet surprise that we enjoy stay in Ubud and Lombok. The information about activities were almost everywhere here. Pretty easy to get into.

This is currently our bible...
Excellent guide to Bali - a few prices for things are out, but this is a few years old. The attractions and towns remain the same.

Actually read from cover to cover and made me not want to go there. Not what a travel guide is supposed to do.
