DSNG CHRONICLES 1: THE PRINCE'S PRIDE

Within the vibrant Beta sector at the heart of the Makuran Galaxy lies planet Avera; a monarchy led Neo-Roman society of humanoids that is close to the outstanding pinnacle of ultra-modernization. The tangible products of nanotechnology tied to applied quantum physics and radical biomedical advancements have produced a world that constantly adapts to the needs of its sentient inhabitants. Like his cousin the King, the protagonist Prince Azzar Omenus is also a superhuman being and he holds the rank of Senior Commanding Officer within the Centura, the notarized military force of planet Avera. Gravity defiance, energy shield generation, and the projection of a variety of blazing fireballs from his epidermal layers are amongst the amazing feats that he can flawlessly accomplish, per his uniquely inherited genetics. He is a strong-willed mortal man of few words, and he possesses an immense ego, tied to his distinguished pedigree and his phenomenal abilities. He is not without flaws, but he is definitely without fear. And he is always more than ready to rise to a challenge. Often silently viewed as eccentric and defiant, Azzar constantly strives to balance his formal responsibilities and intimate relationships, while he battles the condescending voices in his head that belittle his existence. But as a trained Alpha Senturi Black-Ops operative, he knows how to filter his thoughts and focus on the eye of the storm—and this process keeps him ready to resiliently combat the unknown. While the unified nation of Avera rejoices after the recent victory in the conflict tagged as the War of Marvus, a dark cloud looms over the horizon. The infamous interplanetary terrorist faction known as the Gorilla Rebel Militia have set a diabolical scheme in motion, which commences off world upon one of the satellites of planet Macur, located in the Gamma sector. A bloody covert attack upon a Starline cruiser by a masked, 7-foot tall, eldritch, Scalatan male triggers a stark chain of events, as a man linked to the Averan Ministries Executive Board is viciously apprehended. That clandestine event marks the birth of Operation Black Rain, a diabolical scheme to eclipse the seven major planets of the Makuran Galaxy in an explosive welter of endless violence and chaos. And the Overlord, the secretive supreme leader of the Gorillas, has sworn to rain down death upon all who dare to oppose his sadistic will. The Overlord has militant cells on every planet of the Makuran Galaxy, and he supplies them with the intel and armaments to execute his vehement objectives. He is far more ruthless than a space pirate commanding a near-infinite bloodthirsty horde. And his influence is as limitless as the bands of cyberspace. He is a man that many believe to be a fable, while others have tagged him as a reactive conglomerate of evolving heuristic algorithms birthed from a sentient mind that went mad eons ago, before fusing with a gullible life-form that served as his submissive host. But regardless of the mysterious web of lies that engulf his near-intangible persona, even the Centura are aware of the Overlord’s dark existence. More destructive events soon unfold on a festive night within the capital mega state of Avera, when Prince Azzar’s best friend, Commander Vince, is almost assassinated by a peculiar stealth hunter. And in response to the attack, the brave Prince abandons his beautiful date and rockets like a missile into the night in order to confront the mysterious invader. Yet Azzar has no idea of what truly awaits him, and neither is he aware of the price that many will pay in the days to come on account of his pride…
