My review of the first volume of Invasion was not exactly glowing and based more on its potential than the opening story. I'm happy to say the second volume is an improvement on the first. The tone is once again dark befitting an alien invasion and war story. There are also a couple of surprises and new character developments too. Where the previous volume had to introduce the characters and setting, this volume tackles the motivations and current struggles of our main protagonists, while simultaneously foreshadowing the plans of the Yuuzhan Vong invaders. So far, the story is more compelling than the classic Star Wars tale of Rebellion versus Empire. The art is superb. I anxiously await the next volume of Star Wars: Invasion.
A trainee jedi goes to rescue his Dad from a double agent. Meanwhile, the refugees who took control of an alien ship continue to try and help others. The Dad storyline is decent, and I particularly liked the forgetful jedi. A good read.

An interesting story, but poor editing / transitions and the art isn't the greatest. You at least have to get Luke Skywalker right in a Star Wars comic, my dears.
I really like the story, though, so I'll carry on getting these from the library.

Very intersting take on the period of the New Jedi Order. Some new insight into another force user his sister who also shows force using ability and their step-mother who has been a Vong living among them.
