THE HEALING CODE is your healing kit for life--to heal the issues you know about, and the ones you don't. In 2001, Dr. Alex Loyd discovered how to activate a physical function built into the body that consistently and predictably removes the source of 95% of all illness and disease so that the neuro-immune system takes over its job of healing whatever is wrong with the bod ...more

Rather than write a review, I will post the handout that I've written for my therapy clients:

Use these when bothered by negative emotions, such as fear, worry, anger, stress. They lower the body’s stress level, and also allow you to rewrite your subconscious beliefs that cause stress (the issues of the heart).

The author was given the "The Healing Codes" (All Rights Reserved) directly from God. And, he patented ...or what ever they call it... the phrase "The Healing Codes." So, be very careful and only use the word in quotations.

Yes, pages 4 and 5 discuss how he received this "God-given blueprint."

After his arrogant claim, it's about 200 pages of how great he is and testimonials until he actually gets to the code. The book slyly disses yoga, but then one part of 'the code' is breath of fire, taken dir

98% of this book is selling this book. Registered trademarks, testimonials and all. Repeated ad nauseam. Dumbed-down science and even recommendations to find Jesus. That last one alone had me setting the book down and abandoning for weeks on end. With a lot of disgust.

The thing that made me pick it back up regardless of all the oversell was the meat of it:

Energy is everything and everything boils down to energy

This was a firstreads winner.

I haven't finished it yet, but I definitely have a few thoughts.

It reads like a long infomercial. There's a lot of hype, lots of grandiose claims, liberals sprinklings of testimonials and fantastic anecdotal success, but it mostly seems in the service of selling or pushing some product (so far they aren't clear on exactly what). I'm over 100 pages in and I'm finding I wish I could read on double speed just to get through it. If their codes actually work as advertised

It takes this book too long to trll you how to do the healing codes but the healing code practice really works! But it doesn't mention that the various areas of the head relate to specific areas of function in the brain and throat. I'll explain my theory... The forehead is the prefrontal cortext where our most evolved brain resides and is capable of all the left brain and right brain connections coming together and is the modern intelligence center of our brains; the throat area contains our thy ...more

I bought the book with a very skeptical mind. I expected some "power of positive thinking" or prosperity gospel mumbo jumbo, and was instead surprised with a scientifically supported, divinely inspired healing system. I have been doing the universal "healing code" for a few days now, and already, God has revealed some memories and sin patterns in my life that need to be healed. Instead of using the site's "truth statements," I recite scripture and pray as I meditate and actually do the codes. I ...more

Incredibly stupid, manipulation of peoples fears for profit. Victim blaming. Based on affirmations of 'I am a good person' variety. As Albert Ellis (foremost psychologist of the last century, creator of cognitive therapies) said, if you have self esteem you can lose self esteem, better to evaluate strategies for satisfaction instead, and simply stop calling yourself names, like good or bad, for example. The part of the book where it recommends you find Jesus must mean that followers of other rel ...more

This is, hands down, the best book I have ever read. This book has helped me change more things in my life in the last seven days then any other book has done before. Reading the Bible, alone, has not given me this much change. It lines up with the Bible and science. It focuses on addressing the spiritual issues of the heart. The authors do a great job of explaining how these spiritual issues of the heart actually affect our health, relationships and performance in our careers and other areas of ...more

I believe that to appreciate this book you have to be open minded to alternative healing theories or desperate for help. Even though I have studied various alternative methods, Reiki, Polarity, yoga, meditation, etc., I found it hard to believe that this simple energy technique could work. I have to say I still haven't decided one way or the other, although I'm willing to give it a try and test the results for myself. However, the entire first half of the book is devoted to the science and testi ...more

To be clear: I am not giving the actual idea of the healing code 1 star--I think meditation is great, focused meditation is great and love is great. I am giving this ridiculous book 1 star. This book was 219 pages of, "The healing code works! It's so awesome! It works! It's so awesome" and then one page of the actual idea. The author (I'm guessing) couldn't figure out how to make money on an idea that can be expressed on one piece of paper, so he wrote this waste of time.

Has some good points.

But too often claims originality and uniqueness when it is painfully obvious it has no right to claim either.

Add to that the emphasis on christianity and...

this is a book that I felt like throwing at the wall... more than once.

Even though I feel like my rating is one star (did not like it), I will give it two stars simply because some of the theory is worth reading just to get a different perspective on Energy Healing.

I am almost done reading this book and am finding it very fascinating. If the techniques in this book work half as well as they claim to I will continue to give this book a 5 star rating. Very interesting subject though. Maybe one of the most important subjects I will ever read except for the Bible. This book promises more than any secular book I can think of. What if we can erase negative emotions, financial problems and health issues by using a simple technique like the healing codes? It is ve ...more

I have read several self-help types of books. I did find this book helpful in some ways, but I am a bit skeptical about The Healing Code itself. I can see that meditation and prayer are helpful and have used some of these methods before, but not like this.

Pros - Prayer and meditation are beneficial in reducing stress of all kinds which help the body to heal. I find all of these statements to be true.

Cons - My skepticism comes in by how it is written. It is very repetitive in a salesman way. The

Overall, despite a few flaws, this is a must have for anyone wanting more from their life, especially their health. A wonderful book to help unblock you from the inner gunk (internal negative baggage) you've been carrying around in your subconscious mind, that you're probably not even aware of.

If there is a deeper conscious or unconscoius emotional connection to your illness or physical ailment, this book seeks to address it using a specific self-healing meditation+energy practice. Most of the book is the scientific reasoning, testimonial accounts, or justification behind doing the actual practice. If you already believe in the power of meditation, affirmations, and reiki/energy work, you can just skip to the actual Healing Code technique and start practicing it. The description of th ...more

When asked to read and review The Healing Code by Dr. Alexander Loyd and Dr. Ben Johnson, I was intrigued. The book cover reads “6 Minutes to Heal the Source of Your Health, Success or Relationship Issue.” I am like everyone else – looking for the “quick fix” so I told the publisher to send me a copy and eagerly watched the mail for the book.

Loyd and Johnson are Christian physicians who have written a book based on scientific research. In Part One of the book, the authors discuss the “Seven Sec

I first heard of this book through a monthly newsletter I receive from James Bruggeman. His initial excitement upon discovering the book convinced me I needed to read it. So I bought a copy for my Kindle.

This book is easy to read, but it will challenge how you think because it presents an entirely new model of healing. It is not based on traditional medicine or even alternative health practices. It is based on the idea that we are energy and that stress is the cause of all illness.

This book is amazing and I honour the two doctors who worked to put this technique together and offer it to the general public. I have used the Healing Code for many different issues as well as with my clients and I have written, as a Writer, about its profound influence and effect on the human body, mind and Spirit! Thank you Dr. Alex Loyd and Ben Johnson.

This book was a recommendation from my chiropractor. It's all about being able to heal our own bodies with our own energy and how all illness is caused by stress. Interestingly, it's not the day to day stress, but mostly suppressed stress we don't even know we have (some of which is inherited ). It's a very spiritual approach to healing our bodies and it's fascinating. Whether you suffer from cancer or anxiety this book will change your life. I am convinced that repeating mantras or affirmations greatly affects our well-being, and that directing those towards of centers of energy in the body should strengthen those statements even further. I do believe that this book delivers a worthwhile message. However, most of the book felt like an informercial, and it's constant proselytizing the Christian faith was, to me, a deterrent. Still, I am following the teaching because, after all, there's nothing to lose. I just use my own wording.

As with The Emotion Code book by Dr. Bradley Nelson, The Healing Code is an adventure into the simplicity of healing. Think about God's design of the human being in His likeness. God is perfect. If we are like him, we are perfect too as long as we rid ourselves of the ego and our human bodies. Underneath, over, above, within our deepest selves lives our souls. That being said, the authors Alexander Loyd and Ben Johnson, explain through science and experience that memories are stored in our cells ...more

One of the most informative and helpful books I have read in matters pertaining to improving ones' health and well-being. The authors suggest that the source of all illness of mind and body is "stress" - both the stresses we are aware of (conscious or circumstantial) and stresses which exist below our consciousness, but which nevertheless affect our behavior and well-being. The authors further suggest that physical and emotional illness or wellness is caused by the energies we generate (illness ...more

I’ve suffered from chronic pain since the end of 2005 and I have tried literally EVERYTHING to rid myself of this horrendous pain. When I saw this book, I thought I’d give it a try and see what The Healing Code was all about.
Most of the book is spent exploring the Seven Secrets of Life, Health and Prosperity and most of it did resonate with me. The basic concept that I took away from these secrets was that stress is the root of all illness. Your body can only take so much stress and when it beco

So far I find it quite exciting - a physician is showing how energy is at the bottom of health issues, and Alex shares his inspired solution to a means to address issues of the heart, which he feels are at the source of the problems.

The book ends up with a sound basis in science for the concept, and refers to verifiable tests that demonstrate a real change is taking place. Ultimately a code is given to use and guidance for how to use it.

I'm excited to try it and see what differences I can bring

I read this because I am interested in the science of consciousness and the relationship of consciousness to energy fields, and also in the relationship of the mind to the body. There are interesting ideas here, and experimentation with them may help many people without doing any harm (more than one can say about many of the drugs and procedures sold in the medical marketplace). But you do have to look beyond the author's need to sell the concepts to you. Can't really give this one a rating.

The whole book starts with faulty premises and thus I consider the rest of the book to be a complete rubbish.

According to the authors, Bruce Lipton is a highly regarded biologist, which is not the case.

“Let’s walk this out step by step. Let’s say you have a problem with a disease by the label of “acid reflux.” You experience stress. Stress decreases muscle tone around the lower esophagus, because that requires blood and energy, which we are using to fight or flee. Now the acid in the stomach washes back up into the esophagus, damaging the lining of the esophagus. These cells get repeatedly damaged, causing pain and eventually ulcers or cancer. But they only do that because they’re not in growth and healing and repair mode, or they could protect themselves from the acid bath. So you manifest the disease “acid reflux.” The medical solution is to give a purple pill to stop the acid. This works quite effectively for reducing the acid, but the problem is that the acid is needed to digest food. Acid also functions to kill bacteria that we have ingested with the food. In masking our symptom, we’ve created two new problems. The extra bacterial load burdens the immune system. The food remains in the stomach longer until the stomach finally produces enough acid to digest it, but now there’s a longer exposure period of the acid to the esophagus. It becomes a vicious cycle. So, do we want to mask the symptom or heal the source?” 0 likes
