I rated the book a two star because it simply didn't bring the emotion out from me. I actually shouldn't rate this book because I didn't even finish it. It was a little boring. I felt the readers were explaining their experiences and simply saying, "I was sad/scared/etc." and they didn't paint a picture in my head. I felt the writers for Chicken Soup for a Teenage Soul did so much of a better job of this. Sure, I teared up once on this, but it didn't so much make me smile or surprise me or make me feel sad or anything. Plus, maybe they shortened it or something, but every letter was super duper short... First they just thanked the author, told explained to the author what happened, then BYE. I just didn't get much out of the book as I did with Chicken Soup.
