"Never time enough to do it right, but always time enough to do it over" - This quote is a perfect description of poor development practice.
This book shows you how to do it right, and, most importantly, tells you why.
I liked a bit near the end concerning various requirement reviewers. The author opined that the particular reviewers that took the time to do it right should make good product managers. Shouldn't everybody take the time to do it right? It's really wasteful that all project managers don't prioritize doing it right.

The world will be soo much better if PDMs and developers have read this book before building next "great" product or release.
It will help them to understand that every change/feature should have background and reasons to do it (in writing) - this book will not only cement that idea in their minds, but will also show how to write requirements that actually are usable.

One of the best books I have read on requirement management process. I hope every software developer/manager reads this before jumping into the development bandwagon. This book provides lots of good material and lots of tips to enhance the requirement management capability of any individual as well as any firm.
