The design and crystal specification of every lightsaber welded by Jedi masters - stumped one of my friends with a crystal question (HUGE Star Wars fan) and he had to buy me lunch! Fun book that has lots of information on this iconic weapon; many unusual variations are looked at and explained.

Coyer Winter Back To Basics

This is the ultimate reference for Star Wars fans. There are close up images of various lightsabers and information on the user. I loved learning more about how the sabers are formed and the various fighting patterns. A great read

Totally using this book to help with a Star Wars fanfic I'm working on! I wanted to know more about metals common in the Star Wars universe and the construction of lightsabers.

This is a fantastic must have for Star Wars fans of all ages. As my son says, "This is the coolest book!" This Star Wars collectible gives a detailed history of light sabers, telling how they are made, which characters use which weapons and shows the difference between the various light sabers. The pictures are great, the explanations intriguing and the details are awesome. Honestly I had no idea there were different designs. I knew about the different colors, but that was it. It's a book I enjoyed reading with my son who's a young, Stars Wars fan. I recommend this book for Star Wars fans of all ages.

My 6 year old son loves everything Star Wars. He loves this book that details the light sabers of Jedi and Sith from the Star Wars movie. Ever wonder which defeated Jedi's l4 light sabers General Grievous uses? A double page fold out spread will show you. The Darth Maul light saber flips up to show its full extended length as compared to others in the book. Amazing detail for an invented universe and weapon.

One of the most accurate and fascinating of the star wars guides. From the history of their creation, to epic battles, this book can tell you just about everything there is to know about the "elegant weapon for a more civilized age." Personally, I prefer a single green Kasha crystal, honed by electrum-plated alloy used in the Niman stance. My utmost respect to Pablo Hidalgo, he did his homework! haha! (o: Definitely Star Wars geek approved!

A fun little reference, up to date as of TLJ. Frustratingly, though, that while there is a mention of Inquisitors, all the lightsabers and duels from The Clone Wars and Rebels are left out. Nothing about Ahsoka's white blades, or Ezra's two-in-one weapon (good for the disguised jedi!), nor any mention of, say, Vader and Ahsoka's duel or Obi-Wan and Maul's final showdown. So it's pretty limited.

Rarely do you get a close look at one lightsaber, much less twenty-five. This book may be slim, but it allows the reader to see unprecedented detail of lightsabers ranging from those appearing in Episodes I to VIII.

A must for any die-hard Star Wars fan.

I think Star Wars Lightsabers is a great book. In the book, Obi-Wan crashes Darth Vader's sword. It's a great book. Check it out!

A very handy go to guide about the lightsaber. It explains a lot about the mechanics, who uses them and some of the more significant events in which they have played a rule.

Inkább albumszerű, tömör összefoglalóval a fénykardok történetéről, összeszereléséről, a leghíresebb párbajokról, stb.

This had a lot of compiled info from the movies, novels, shows, comics, etc that gave details about different lightsabers.

All of this info I already knew after decades of Star Wars experience, but it’s good to see all this info gathered in one book.

I got this book at a book fair in kindergarten. I spent a large portion of my childhood looking at and eventually reading it. This is, without any doubt, the book I have spent the most cumulative time reading throughout my life.

Wanted to know about the colors. I've seen elsewhere that the colors among Jedi mean something. Didn't say it in here. My nephew enjoyed the book.
