We love this book. My daughter who is now 11 read it always, I know it almost by heart. She made her own book, simple words and pictures. Sweet book, about blessing all things important in our life. 'Bless the children everywhere' 'bless my night light, bless my cars'. Just brings back nice memories.

In this captivating book for very young readers, a child preparing for bed asks for a blessing for the everyday things in his life: the moon and the stars, his night light, his cars and trucks, his chairs and table, and so much more.

Charming illustrations accompany the sparse text, perfect for the youngest readers who will readily relate to the young boy and his sweet good night prayer.

Highly recommended.

The only thing I didn't like about this book, was that the entire book was about asking for blessing. "Bless the moon, bless the stars," etc. I wish they would have put some pages in about saying thank you.

A beginning prayer in picture book form for little ones. If you are familiar with Good Night, Moon, it has a similar vibe, but with a blessings prayer.

This is cute, and although one might not encourage children to ask God to bless their material possessions, it is an accurate portrayal of what is important in their little worlds, and the things that they do choose to pray about.
