What a brilliant person was Leonardo da Vinci! Possibly one of the first men on earth who epitomized the loolapalooza effect described by Munger.

He was not just an artist in the form of a painter or sculptor. But he brought scientific breakthroughs in possibly every field of his time, oh no, he created fields and brought breakthroughs in them - way ahead of his time!

A total genius who fused the sciences and arts of all kinds to truly create magic on earth.

This book is an introduction to the work of the Leonardo da Vinci.

Many of the pictures / images of the artwork and drawings in this book are fantastic. The heading / descriptions of the individual pictures / images were interesting but the main body of the text was confusing (at least to someone who knows very little about the artist) so I felt that I didn’t really learn anything about Leonardo da Vinci. This may have been just the version (in English) that I read.

I’ve given this book a four star rating simply for the pictures / images. I would give the main text in this book a rating of only two stars.
