Ok, what more could you ask for--the Alaskan Goldrush, an intrepid girl reporter, vampires, werewolves and lots of excitement. And did I mention humour? But Elizabeth Ann Scarborough does write a great deal of funny novels, so I'm guessing that if you recognized her name, you already knew this.

Oh, and it also mentions the REAL reason that vampires would love Alaska--and its's not because of the winter darkness hours. Nope, its because of Alaska's State Bird--the Mosquito. Isn't it nice to know

Elizabeth Ann Scarborough was born March 23, 1947, and lives in the Puget Sound area of Washington. Elizabeth won a Nebula Award in 1989 for her novel The Healer's War, and has written more than a dozen other novels. She has collaborated with Anne McCaffrey, best-known for creating the Dragonriders of Pern, to produce the Petaybee Series and the Acorna Series.
