This is one volume of the "ALL" series that Herbert Lockyer produced over his lifetime. This one focuses on the teachings of Jesus in particular from the various encounters Jesus had with people and in His messages as recorded in the four gospels.

It is a very clear, well written book that really helps put it all together. I seldom reread a book but this is one that will be read again and soon. There are still a few points I want to clarify to make sure I didn't just misunderstand. Later in the book there were some areas that seem to need a little more editing, but still worth reading. ...more

Dr. Herbert Lockyer was born in London in 1886, and held pastorates in Scotland and England for 25 years before coming to the United States in 1935. In 1937 he received the honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Northwestern Evangelical Seminary. In 1955 he returned to England where he lived for many years.
