The book has enlighted my understanding about R&D management. It traced the logic behind current trends of successful R&D units in doing their business. Eventhough the concept was initiated in 1999, some thoughts are still relevant with today's context. The 4th generation is still worth mentioned in describing the latest generation which emphasizes on networking and collaboration at the earlier phase of R&D.
