This is a great book for any business leader, and especially IT leaders.
I took a lot of notes and am going to add a great deal of the content of this book to my leadership playbook. I am recommending it to many of my peers. The "It's the business" chapter should be required reading for all new IT leaders. I'm also planning to adopt the concept for my staff to help develop and advance their leadership skills. I'm also sharing with them many of the notes I took from the other chapters as well. Good stuff.

Read this for work, as I do a lot of briefings to IT customers and IT transformation is a hot topic. This book was accessible and straightforward with things to think about and return to. Nothing earth shattering, but good advice nonetheless. I would recommend it for anyone in IT who has begun implementing Cloud, virtualization, etc. and finds their IT department transforming. This type of leadership (as espoused by Bonfante) will get you much further than other styles.

A book from my master's program. Good information and insightful. A little dense on the material front a times. Four stars for content, two stars for writing...average three stars.
