Wow! sad that he died.

A short and sweet story about Zishe Breitbart that does a great job of incorporating Jewish values beyond his strength. The ending was quite abrupt but I guess it wanted to go out with a bang!

This is a sweet book, definitely a good one to read to kids. I'm a fan of any book about heroes, super or otherwise. It's wonderful for children to read biographies about real people who were brave, heroic, strong, driven, and took risks. Siegmund Breitbart was all of these things and more, truly someone to be proud of all these years later.

My five year old really loved this story.

Biography of Zische the Strongman. Nice pictures and focused a lot on his Jewish ancestry.
