A terrifically clear and easy-to-read summary of Greek mythology. It seems to cover all of the famous stories - and some more besides. There are sections on the Gods, Theseus, Hercules, The Trojan War and Odysseus (Ulysse). The writing is often wryly humorous and always fast-paced and enjoyable. The stories are presented in a very logical order, tying the whole mythology together as a single unit. This means that the stories make much more sense than they would if they were told separately. This book would be excellent either as an introduction to Greek mythology or as a refresher course.
I thought this book was quite nice because it talked about all the different types of gods and also this book had stories of how all the gods would metamorphosis to different things including turning in to a human. this book also contains stories about Demi gods and how they were born. Also a big part of this book talks about the war of Trois and Ulysse coming back for the war of Trois after 21 years. Overall this book contains little stories of gods and goddesses. I would recommended to anyone who loves methologie and to anyone who wants to know the roots of the greek gods and goddesses
