Ever wonder what happens when you wish on a falling star in the Sonoma Desert? If you do, do you know what you would wish for? If your answer has anything to do with sexy encounters of the threesome kind, then this book is a wish come true. R.G. Alexander has created not one, but three beautiful and magically erotic stories that will have you peering out your window at night looking for that falling star to make your sexiest wishes come true.

SINFUL DESIRES: Dani has been on the run from her abusive and homocidal ex, Sal. Her saving grace when she decided to run was her best friend Liam, a chef who has always been there for her when she needed him. He quickly whisked her away to a house owned by a wealthy investor and they began a new life together as room mates. Liam has a secret. He is in love with his roommate Dani. On top of that, he wants to tell her the truth about his family but is worried when she finds out, she will never trust him again. He knows she has trust issues after everything that happened with Sal and would never want to break that trust. The problem is, Liam he can't keep his eyes off Dani. When he wakes up to her screaming about a spider in the bathroom, he runs to her rescue only to find a very naked Dani and no spider to be seen. Being in a small place with his beautiful roommate can only lead to one thing, a real life wet dream. His wet dream came true but leaves the pair in an ackward position that they can't discuss because their friends are coming over for a party and there is simply no time for discussion.

Dani couldn't wait to see Bailey and Kaya. They had been waiting for their girl's night and were excited about an evening of good food, girl talk and lots of Sangria. Okay so maybe it wasn't a complete girl's night. Liam's friends were having poker night in the other room. But when thoughts of those men and a few what if's pop into mind, the girl's find themselves each making a wish. What would it be like to have a threesome with the men of their dreams? When Kaya encounters a mysterious acquaintance named Stax, she soon realizes the man of her dreams has been standing in front of her all along. The question is, what is she going to do about it?

SINFUL SENSATIONS: Bailey Wagner is a spitfire of a woman who is determined to keep her independence. After a very difficult childhood, she came to Sedona and began working at a local inn. Doing her best to become the full owner, Bailey's plans literally come crashing down when she falls from the attic after seeing a spider. Rather than falling to the floor, she landed in the arms of Cam, the new owner of the inn. Clad in her Superman undies and a t-shirt, she was not prepared for her impromptu meeting but quickly learns that there is something about the handsome young man that she can't resist. When she explains some of the roofing issues that need to be fixed, a crew is sent out the very next morning to deal with the problems. What better way to blow off some steam than to flirt with the roofers, especially the Italian one with his shirt off. How could Bailey get so lucky? Two hot guys in two days? Okay so maybe that wish stuff does work. They weren't exactly what she wished for (two Ewan McGregors) but they were delicious to look at. When the attraction is reciprocated and an offer to fulfill her darkest desires is made, Bailey wonders if she should let go of being in charge for once and submit to see if her wish just might come true.

SINFUL PLEASURES: Kaya not sure what to make of all of the magic around her. She is Hopi, coming from a traditional family that is filled with a culture of magic and belief. She waitresses at night and uses her gift to tell fortunes during the day. When she has a dream showing the paths of her and her two friends merge in the sky, she hears "wish butterfly maiden" a creation song from her people. She shares the dream with Bailey and Dani and the three decide to wish for their deepest desires. Then she watched the days pass as her two friends wishes came true. During that time, her grandfather showed up out of the blue and seems to be more interested in her friends than her. A Coyote spirit has been lingering about and popping up at the most interesting times too. Add to that the fact that her friends keep seeing giant spiders and she keeps noticing a wolf that hovers nearby and she simply knows the spirits are at work. What is driving her even more crazy is that fact that Liam's friend Jace keeps popping up. She simply cannot stand him but lately there is something about him. How did she not notice how handsome he was before?

Jace is one of the chefs at the restaurant Kaya waitresses at. He has been after her for some time but she seems to think he is a womanizer. He knows there is an attraction but until he gets her alone to prove it, he gets the cold shoulder. When he finally gets his moment, the sparks fly. The problem is, he is not the only one with eyes for Kaya. His best friend Nick has been in love with her too. Wondering what to do, he accidentally confides in Liam and Cam only to find out the strangest story. What is up with his friends having threesomes? Did they really say that Kaya wished for one too? Quiet, workaholic Kaya? His Kaya? The one he has wanted but who refuses to acknowledge his existence? Even if she did want him, he can't hurt his best friend Nick. What he doesn't know, is that Nick has an agenda of his own that will make all of their wishes come true.

What a great book! This was my second time reading it and the stories never get old. The characters are so well developed and the wishes between the three women go so much deeper than the sexual aspect. Dani's strength to get over her fears is such a strong part of the story and knowing that Liam plays such a strong role in that transition makes the story a very heartfelt one. With him being a chef, there are some interesting kitchen scenes that I will continue to blush over and the shower encounter is a wet dream come true.

I simply love Bailey's story and how it shows that people can change when they find that one thing (or someone) that can keep them grounded. Add to that, some spanking and a little fun with a good book (not in the reading sense) and it was a story daring you to step out of the norm and onto the wildside that hides beneath the controlling business woman.

Kaya's story brings everything full circle and explains how all of the elements come together to make things happen. Her story is beautiful and magical. Her magic helps to bring not only happiness to her friends, but understanding to herself. She appears lonely throughout the story until she figures out her place in the world. She she understands that it is not about one man, but two, and how the three of them create a balance, so she is able to find happiness.

The three stories blend beautifully together and weave an exotic, sensual quilt of love, magic, friendship, and sensuality that will have you wishing upon the nearest star for you wildest fantasies to come true.

Three Sinful Wishes is my first read by R. G. Alexander and I really enjoyed it! It’s written in three short stories, each focusing on one couple (or threesome), but the characters and stories flow very well together and feels more like a novel with really long chapters. Dani, Bailey and Kaya are good friends who live in Sedona, AZ. Each of these women has issues that they are dealing with in their personal lives-Dani is trying to escape her past, Bailey is searching for a home and belonging, and Kaya, a Native American, struggling with her commitment to her familial obligations while at the same time wanting a life of he own. One night, after a bit too much Sangria the girls get a little loose lipped and start sharing some of their sexual fantasies. They seem surprised to learn that they’ve each been having some very erotic dreams. Kaya has a physic gift and Bailey and Dani often look to her explain things that don’t make sense. Kaya usually knows things before they are voiced anyway. It is in the midst of this discussion, when the women are sharing their most intimate thoughts that they look up to find three falling stars, and their wishes are cast.

Sinful Desires is the story of Dani and Liam. Dani and Liam have been friends for years. When Dani found herself in a bad situation, Liam was there for her, getting her out of town fast and helping her do what was necessary to get her life back on track. They’ve been in Sedona for a year now and Dani is absolutely clueless to the fact that Liam has been in love with her for a long time. He fights his feelings because he knows what Dani is dealing with and it just never seems like the right time. They are comfortable with each other and from the outside looking in they look like a couple-only without the sex. It takes a huge spider in the shower one morning, Dani’s blood curdling scream, and Liam slamming into the bathroom to “rescue” her in all her naked, wetness for Dani to notice Liam as a man and not just her good friend. Even then, though, she runs, not wanting to deal with all the new “feelings” she suddenly has for Liam. Kaya and Bailey both try to get her to open her eyes and really see Liam, but it takes a stranger named Stax to push them toward each other. Stax is a friend of Liam’s friends Nick and Jace and there is something about him that draws you to him. He’s compelling and Liam finds himself talking to Stax about his feelings for Dani. Stax is much more than he appears to be but with his help Dani and Liam find their way to each other and make Dani’s wish come true.

Sinful Sensations is the story of Bailey and Cameron. Bailey runs the Enchanted Inn, but don’t let the name fool you. It’s pretty run down, but for Bailey it’s the closest thing to a home that she’s ever had. She loves the place and works hard doing almost everything herself, hiring out only when absolutely necessary. When the owner decides to sell, she tries to buy it herself but can’t raise the capital and it’s purchased by someone else. From what she’s heard, the new owner tends to lose interest once a property is acquired so she’s totally unprepared when the owner, Cameron Locke, shows up to check on his new acquisition late one evening. She makes a fabulous first impression when he arrives late one night to find her hanging out of the attic door, the ladder fallen over, with her in nothing but a t-shirt and her Superman underwear. Cam is so not what Bailey expected and Bailey is absolutely nothing like she was described to Cam by the previous owner and their attraction to each other is immediate. Bailey doesn’t know it, but Cam only came to town to check out the place, see what needed fixing, get it arranged so he could flip it and get back to his playboy lifestyle. But he’s intrigued by Bailey and her quirkiness and he decides to stick around for a bit and see how things go. Cam and his friend/assistant Davide have a lot to do with making Bailey’s wish upon a star come true.

Sinful Pleasures is the story of Kaya, Jace and Nick. Kaya is a Native American Hopi Indian who is torn between two worlds. She believes in everything about her heritage that she was taught growing up, but she lives away from the reservation, choosing to make a life for herself on her own. She works two jobs and sends money home to her aunt who is raising her younger brother and sister. She has a strong psychic talent and she’s not comfortable using her talent to make money, but it allows her to help support her family on the reservation. Kaya and Jace work together and Kaya has had a crush on Jace for a while; she won’t act on it though and she has no clue how Jace feels about her. Nick is Jace’s roommate and he’s had a crush on Kaya for a long time but he’s struggling with a major issue in his life and that makes him hold back from telling Kaya how he feels. Needless to say, it’s made Jace and Nick’s relationship difficult, but Jace is tired of waiting around and he makes a move that surprises Kaya and Nick and goes a long way to making Kaya’s wish come true.

I really enjoyed Three Sinful Wishes. I especially liked how the author weaved in some Native American folklore within the story. Of the three, my favorite would be Three Sinful Wishes because I love the friends to lovers theme with Kaya, Jace and Nick’s story being a close second. I’ll definitely be checking out R.G. Alexander’s other books!

Three Sinful Wishes is an erotic romance anthology centered around three friends who make a wish on falling stars. Dani, Bailey and Kaya wish for their inner-most erotic dreams to come true.

Sinful Desires - Liam and Dani are best friends. He helped Dani when she was at her most vulnerable. Liam is in love with Dani and wants to take their relationship to the next level but is afraid that by confessing his feelings, he will lose Dani forever.
I liked the friends becoming lovers aspect of this story. There were some hot scenes between Liam and Dani. I could understand Dani's reluctance to further her relationship with Liam. She's trying to get back on her feet after leaving an abusive relationship. I felt the menage aspect of the story was a little tame and weak. Dani's wish was to be with two men at once. Liam is happy to oblige as long as he makes the rules. The third person in this menage was more of a spectator than a participator so for me it didn't feel like a true menage story. I felt the story was more erotic when Liam and Dani were one-on-one.
My rating: 3/5
Heat Index: Warm

Sinful Sensations - Bailey hasn't made any time for a love life. She has a five-year plan that she needs to stick to. Busy working at the Enchanted Inn, she is completely focused on her career. When Bailey meets her new boss, Cameron, her 5 year plan is thrown out the window.
This story started off great but lost steam towards the end. Bailey has a threesome with Cam and his friend, Davide. Both men are hot and Bailey lusts after both of them. The sex between the three is hot and steamy. I felt that the emotional aspect felt rushed and again, once the menage happened once, the third person is suddenly out of the picture. This story was sexy and hot with a little spanking added on the side.
My rating: 3/5
Heat Index: Sizzling

Sinful Pleasures - Kaya is tired of living her life for her family. When she saw that her two best friends wishes came true, she couldn't wait to see what was in store for her.
This was my favorite story out of the three. Kaya is attracted to be both Jace and Nick. Even though her relationship with Jace consists of bickering and insults, there's an underlying sexual heat between them. Jace's friend, Nick, also wants Kaya but because Jace is his friend, he doesn't want to cross that line. Kaya wants both and is finally able to let go sexually. Her encounters with Nick and Jace separately are hot but when all three come together it's explosive. Kaya's story was definitely the steamiest out of the three.
My rating: 3.5/5
Heat Index: Smoking Hot

Book review reposted from my Smitten with Reading blog....

My Review:
I really, really liked the way that this book was written...so different and so creative. By definition, this book is an anthology. There are three different stories within it, but all three stories are written by the same author and they all feature the same group of friends and same flowing timeline. The book is full of Indian magic, lore, and a few paranormal twists...as well as some truly hot menage scenes and gorgeously romantic story lines. Each story has a different premise because all the romances are different, but the friends remain the same and they are all interacting with each other throughout each of the stories.

The three friends are Dani, Bailey, and Kaya. They are all together one night, hanging out in Sonoma when they make a joint wish upon a star. All three are having issues with their lives which makes the wishes slightly different for each of them, but they all are chatting about menage when the wishes are made, so that comes into play into each story. They each have their own story line and individual romantic HEA separated into three novellas within the book.

It's really cool the way that the book has been put together. It has the positive aspect of being able to read quickly because there are three novellas, but because the underlying story remains the same, the stories and characters have much more depth than you normally find in novellas. For me, when it comes to anthologies, I normally really love one story, like another, and hate the final. That was not the case with these three. All three stories were VERY different from each other, but I LOVED every single one of them.

The guys are absolutely yummy and fabulous. In all three stories, the guys are the pursuers and I love that in a romance. All of the men are alphas, but they are willing to put their naturally dominant personalities aside for the sake of the girls' fantasies of the menage and add another male into the mix...something that none of them take lightly. I really liked the way that K.G. wrote that conflict and the emotions that the guys were dealing with in each of the stories. It's just really well done...for each of the different circumstances.

Like I said, I just really loved this book. This is the first time that I have read R.G. Alexander, but I can guarantee you that it will not be my last. I already have several others of hers on my wish list to buy once my book budget has been replenished. ;o)

We all have wished on those shooting stars, but we never expect those wishes to come true. When three friends Dani, Bailey, and Kaya wished on a shooting star they knew what they wished for would never come true…especially since they all wished for threesomes.

The first story is about Dani and Liam, who have been friends for a really long time. She doesn’t want to ruin the friendship by going beyond the point of no return but with help of mysterious forces she finally gives in and has no qualms of going back.

The second story follows Bailey who just wants to just concentrate on her inn but once her new boss comes into the picture she can’t help all the naughty thoughts she keeps having. He can’t deny the attraction either and decides to invite her to one of his famous risqué parties. She already made up her mind not to attend until she can’t take the longing she feels for him any longer and decides to show up to give him so-called paperwork not expecting to get one of the most amazing experiences of her life.

The third story is on Kaya who is part of the Hopi tribe and tries to deny her attraction to Jace who is half Navajo. As part of the family tradition these two tribes are supposed to hate each other, they fight all the time and can’t stand to be in the same room together. Little does Kaya know that Jace really wants her, but so does his best friend who has a secret that might send Kaya running. Surprisingly she is attracted to both and has to choose between the two…or does she.

I can go on and on about how wonderful of a person R.G. Alexander is but alas this is review is not just about her but about the book and how awe-inspiring it truly is. I enjoyed the Native American references she uses in the book, after reading it I went and looked up everything I could about the Hopi tribe.

I liked how different but similar each story is, there are a few surprises towards the end but you are going to have to read to find out what they are, don’t want to spoil it because it is just too amazing to say. I loved the romance in it (some very naughty I might add), the paranormal aspect to it and the whole magic feel to the whole book. Each story is short compared to the length of the book but I felt it did not take away from telling each characters story. Without doubt, a magnificent read.

Three Sinful Wishes by R.G Alexander
Paranormal Romance - June 7th, 2011
4 1/2 stars

Three friends each wish for some hot man love and get more than they dream in this steamy anthology.

Sinful Desires

Dani doesn’t realize how much her roommate Liam loves her until an incident with a spider in her shower turns into a heated exchange she can’t forget. But she worries that crossing the line will ruin their wonderful friendship...

Sinful Sensations

Bailey’s outrageous flair and scantly clad self certainly make an impression on the new inn owner. Suave Cameron Locke just bought the inn she works for, and she can’t believe Mr. GQ is making the moves on her! But is a relationship with her new boss really smart?

Sinful Pleasures

Kaya has always danced to her own tune. As a Hopi, her mystical powers and exasperating relatives make her life interesting to say the least. But when the sexy Chef Jace visits her, she gets a heated vision that has her hot, bothered and wondering about the chef that she thought didn’t like her.

Each of these stories has a steamy ménage scene as each heroine really gets to live out her wildest fantasies. Usually in anthology there is one story that stands out for me but in this book they were all so well written, I have to say I enjoyed them all equally. Dani’s story is the sweetest of all the shorts. I felt Bailey’s was the most sexy, with the take charge heroes. And Kaya’s was definitely the most fun to read since she is unaware that Jace ‘likes’ her because he gets flustered around her.

This book is a guaranteed winner, especially if you love a dash of the paranormal. Each story has its own personality but what shines through are the likeable characters and the hot love! It is perfect if you want a quick fix. I really enjoyed reading them and look forward to more books by this author.

Ever wished upon a shooting star? Ever had those dreams come true? For Dani, Bailey, and Kaya their wishes do come true even if it’s not the ways they always dreamed. When these three friends have a night of sangria and wishful conversation they never knew it would lead to their dreams coming true.
It’s so hard to read Dani’s story without bringing a tear to your eye. She’s had a frightening past that she wants behind her but it’s so hard to trust again. Liam, her best friend, has loved her for years and wishes she could see what he has to offer, but he is keeping a secret one that may cause him to lose her forever.
Bailey doesn’t want much, just her own bed and breakfast and Mr. Right to come knocking on her door. When her new boss catches her in a less than dignified position she’s embarrassed, but soon she finds herself in a steamy encounter that she will never forget (and she may not want to).
Kaya wants to be free of her burdens, but feels too guilty to let go and be happy. Jace thinks he can make her happy but will he have to share her to do it? Can he share her?
I absolutely loved these stories. I love this type of book (three stories in one book) where we get to meet multiple people and hear all of their sexy stories. Three Sinful Wishes is full hot steamy sex and magical romance. I love that Ms. Alexander uses Hopi traditions within her story. Her stories are full of so much more than your run of the mill romance. Each of these stories has threesomes in it, because as we all know the best things always come in threes! This story is full of magic that leaves you loving the characters and wanting more. I’m always a little sad when I finish one of her books because I wish the stories would just continue forever. You won’t regret reading this story, but keep something on hand to cool you down because it’s going to get hot!!!

Three best friends get together and inadvertently make wishes during a shower of falling stars. In the following weeks, one by one each of them is granted their most carnal wish.

I really enjoyed everything about Three Sinful Wishes. The setting of the Sedona desert made me want to move there. I liked all of the main and secondary characters. The three stories blended well together. Each story had all three women working through their own relationship, family or work issues with the help of some very sexy, strong men.

Ms. Alexander did an excellent job of weaving in all the paranormal elements so well that I didn’t realize it was a paranormal read until after I was finished reading the book. Yeah I really thought men could turn into wolves and coyotes! The smex scenes were hot especially Bailey’s scenes with her boss. Oh and a ménage scene occurs in each of the woman’s stories. I liked the magical elements, the Indian legend & folklore and the sexy shape-shifting men. Kaya’s Grandfather and the newcomer Stax were both mystifying figures within the story and they added a mysterious feel to this novel. Dani, Bailey and Kaya were all interesting, independent women and I was glad that they all got their happily ever afters. The dialogue and interactions between the many characters was at times funny and very well-written.

Going into this book, I had no idea what to expect as R.G. Alexander is a new to me author but I am hooked and can’t wait to read some of her other titles. Three Sinful Wishes will appeal to paranormal erotic romance junkies.

Three novellas, each about one of three friends living in Sedona. Dani, Bailey, and Kaya couldn't be more different on the outside, or more fast friends--on a girls' night in, they wish for independence, success, and gorgeous partners for extracurricular activities. They are shocked when their wishes are surprisingly granted in ways that satisfy their hearts as well as their desires.

In turns sweet, mysterious, wistful, and fun, RG Alexander's interconnected stories are a delight to read. They show Sedona's sexy, steamy side to advantage :)

This is the first book I've read from R.G. Alexander, and I really liked it. I think I'll be reading more of her books soon.

All three stories are great but my favorite one is Dani and Liam's story; it's also the sweetest out of the three. When it comes to hotness, my vote is on Bailey's story. ;)

Book 1 of 2026 -- "Three Sinful Wishes" by R.G. Alexander (292) - For this review I shall quote the legendary Tom Lehrer: "Smut. Give me smut and nothing but. A dirty novel I cant shut - if its uncut and un subt.....tle."

Well paced, cool overarching story (native american spirits) split in 3 parts and filled with exactly what was promised. Pun intended. 10/10.

THREE SINFUL WISHES by R. G. Alexander

Sinful Desire
Sinful Sensations
Sinful Pleasures

I thought all three stories were just okay.

The description of the book I am listing below is from the back jacket of the book. I'm adding it because I believe the one on the Goodreads page does not depict these stories.

When Dani, Bailey and Kaya get together for an unusual girls night, they wish on a shower of falling stars and soon find their most erotic dreams coming true.

In Sinful Desires, magic is in the air when a mysterious stranger and one wild night of passion help Dani Harris admit her feelings for her longtime friend Liam, who has been in love with her for years.

Sinful Sensations follows the story of Bailey Wagner, who intends to stick to her five-year plan while she waits for Mr. Right. But when her sexy new boss convinces her to let loose with him--and a few of his friends--what begins as a kinky work break turns out to be a dream come true.

Fortune-teller by day and waitress by night, Kaya Honahni is too busy running from the expectations of her traditional Hopi family to search for romance, but in Sinful Pleasures, it finds her--times two. Despite her best efforts, Kaya can't deny her attraction to Jace, or to his secretive best friend. And considering the way they respond to her, she won't have to...

I've read R.G. Alexander before and was excited to pick up this book, all the more so because it contained three connected novellas. I got to get my fix of the characters without hunting down any other books. And even though I managed to devour this book in one sitting, I like the shorter length of novellas which allows me to read a full, complete romance without feeling like I've neglected my lengthy to-do list. Don't get me wrong, if you want a hot read filled with engrossing, interwoven tales, you want to pick up this book, pronto!

Like most books, this one wasn't without its flaws. In this case, they didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the book. However, I found some (not all) of the erotic encounters to be gratuitous. And while the first of the novellas was a complete, beautiful romance, the others seemed a little rushed. The heroes could have been developed more in the second and third novellas. In fact, the third was simply crying for it, seeing as there was twice the hero to develop (and by that, I mean two).

But am I trying to steer you clear of this book? Trust me, I'm not. Just pointing out something I couldn't ignore. I loved the vibrant characters and these three scorching tales!

Three Sinful Wishes is three short stories that are all tied-in together. These stories evolve around Dani (who is running from her past), Bailey (who puts up a strong front but really just wants someone to take care of her), and Kaya (who doesn't want to be held responsible for other people's mistakes any longer). While hanging out one night, the three women make wishes at the same time, some out loud and some secretly. Each story is their wish coming true.

I am really surprised at how much I liked this book. The last time I read a book like this, it was the first one I had read and I wasn't prepared. I couldn't focus on the story. I pretty much knew what to expect with this one, and yet again, I am surprised I liked it so well. Of course, that could have something to do with the paranormal and Native American influences too. I normally like any book with those traits, especially if the writing was easily readable as was the case in this book.

I thought it was funny how Pleasure's Edge (a book by Eden Bradley/Eve Berlin) was incorporated into this story. No only once, but twice. This is one of those books where you just have to stop comparing it to the real world and enjoy the read.

Recommended to fans of erotic romance.

Meh.

This book includes three stories, which made each individual story a bit short with no character development or establishment, and lots of insta-love. The relationships and romance lacked depth and I didn't get a right feel for the character either.

The book makes a point that love from having wishes come true is twue wove and people who meet via online dating are likely psychopaths and the people who meet psychopaths instead of finding their twue wove via magical, Native American mumbo jumbo like normal people.

I really enjoyed the first story. The second was okay, but the third was rather disappointing.

This is an anthology with 3 interconnected stories. I thought characters were well flushed out and plotted (for novellas).
