Fun and flirty.... with drama and suspense. This was a good read.
I enjoyed it for the most part. However, there were some fillers that didn't propel the plot forward....for example the whole Omar romance. It should've been edited. I kept expecting him to make a reappearance because the prospects were good, but his character somehow got lost in the shuffle. I felt Jade's best friend, Milan, storyline slowed down the pacing. It didn't add any value to the main plot. The characters development was ...more

What a wonderful fun story of love lost and found, the joys of sisterhood, friendship and new discoveries of who we ultimately are and can become. I really enjoyed Jade's story and look forward to the continuance of the series. I truly can appreciate a woman who may have things all together in one aspect of her life but lacking in others, mainly trust. I've read this book once before and thought it was great so now since the second book has come out I am deciding to read it again. I hope that the second book is as good as this one... Okay I finally finished the book for the second time though it took me what seems like forever I finally completed it and if I do say so myself it was just as good as the first time...
