A heatwave meant we did fewer of these hikes than we’d planned. All the more reason to return.

Great, brief, yet detailed. I want to hike them all.

Short and sweet and a good size to carry along on a trip. Directions to each trail were so repetitious, though, that I got to where I'd skip over those parts. And I had to buy another book to get some actual pictures of what I might see, but that's okay.

I love the "Best Easy Day Hikes" series, and this volume did not disappoint. Please note that the "difficulty" of each hike is highly dependent on the temperature and time of year that choose to visit.

A nice resource that left me wanting more. Helpful for our trip to Joshua Tree National Park.
