Rate this book
Making potty time happy for toddlers and parents.

It’s one of the first rites of passage in life. Somewhere around the age of 26 months—more or less—toddlers are introduced to the potty. In The Pocket Idiot’s Guide to Potty Training Problems , Alison D. Schonwald, also known as “The Poop Doctor” of Boston’s Children’s Hospital, addresses the needs of parents and their reluctant toddlers in a warm, reassuring manner that will calm nerves and ease tension for both the baby and parents.
• Includes tips on making the bathroom kid-friendly
• Explains what factors can confuse toddlers and keep them from succeeding at toilet training
• Helps parents design a step-by-step plan, use praise, and find incentives that work

It's a small little book with a quick read and tips in green print so you can quickly get ideas on important steps to successful potty training. Since we've already started and I've gotten ideas from other people and sources, it was good enough for me. I don't have tons of free time to read a big book on this subject. Just what I needed. Hope potty training goes well!

So helpful for understanding why Dylan is reluctant to potty train. Highly recommended for those of you with two year olds!
