I loved this book. I read when I really needed to be inspired and find extra light that was missing earlier on this year. This book focuses on the miracle in the Bible where Jesus fed the thousands with only a few pieces of loafs of bread and fish. How did he do it? According to this book, there are 12 conditions anyone of us can clue into and practice on our own path. This book had me applying a few of the conditions along the way, and I must say I did have some tiny miny miracles of my own this year.
My favorite non-fiction book in a while that helped me rediscover my own inner spark that felt a bit duller after the holidays last year and also writing on book for so long.
The author was actually an ER doctor, too. I think that added to the appeal to me. Science+Miracles. I'll take that, Dr. Todd Michael. Excellent.

not the typical writing of a physician ...I like his translation of the loaves and fish parable.

I’m not sure what to say about this book because it’s THAT good! All the bits of knowledge I have floating around in my head clicked together while reading this book. There are lots of different things we know are good for us and will help us have a good life, and this book puts them all together in a way that makes sense, making it highly inspiring!

It makes sense the 12 steps but could one person put all 12 steps together at one time if we're not blessed as a prophet or a mystic?

Oddly enough the steps coincide with the steps toward virtue as written by Ben Franklin in his book "The Art of Virtue".

I think you have to read this book with a grain of salt. But I've found the most beautiful poem in it's preface. Take a look!
