About the author

Steven Parker

Dr. Steven J. Parker (b.1947) was a pediatrician and expert in child development. He was affiliated with the Boston Medical Center, and a founder of the Comprehensive Care Program.

Dr. Parker was a graduate of Cornell University, University of Michigan Medical School and completed residency at Stanford University Hospital. He worked with T. Berry Brazelton and co-authored Baby and Child Care with Benjamin Spock.
