so good, fun, & powerful.

incredible stories from the city of neighbors I did not know I have.

mix of silly, honest, happy, painful, etc...

one page/portrait stood out to me more than all the others and truly made an impact.

I also was really jolted by the poem "Suspended" (pg. 329)

Bookmarked about a dozen pages to go back to and spend more time with.

Incredibly inspirational and hopeful. You can spend your whole day walking by people and have no idea what’s going on in their minds. I love the snippets of profound thoughts and a sneak peek into so many different people’s struggles and triumph. Loved it! I hope there’s a sequel.

Loved this book! Excellent concept... and so well executed. Beautiful photosof remarkable humans of St Louis. People wit reason to be proud of themselves and their community. Insightful Q&A goes along with each photo and sime very intriguing poetry. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in people and community.
