OH bot sex and humor, weird alien sex and humor all written and drawn by Phil Fogilo. How can this go be a bad comic!? Perfect person to do this comic with the exact amount of humor, art and PC incorrectness. Some of the scenes really make you rethink you view of well...things. Very recommended

I've never read any of Phil Foglio's work, but when looking at his career, I was struck by his two major series are an all-ages fun ride (Girl Genius) and a porn series (Xxxenophile). So I ordered copies of each, with the goal of seeing how somebody handles such distinct styles and how effectively.

Well, the Girl Genius order get messed upbut I did get Xxxenophile. And I'm not sure what I thought of it. It's basically just a series of short vignettes, no recurring characters, and despite some creative setups for the situations (sci-fi, fantasy mostly), the sex scenes are actually pretty repetitive and unimaginative.

It's got some fun moments, but as porn, it's a bit lacking overall.

And I will still get my hands on Girl Genius.

Story: ****
The book is a sexing success. It's funny, interesting, inventive and erotic/smutty but it's not nerdy. Nice! For instance, you have "Demi Demoness" (I just read) and some others begone which fill out the first two characteristics but are total geekville (usually shamelessly), which takes up panel space where good material could reside, and just squeaks lazy. None of that lax action here.

Here you also have all kinds of races of beings getting it between cheeks- which turns out to be an important message that applies to the recent goodwill towards non-binary realm gender identification.

Art: ****
The Fogliorganization has diverse hands inking the pencils of his writerness to their own lineworkisms which breeds an original product borne of relations sexual. It's fun watching the work morph from finisher to finished. Nobody really outshines the field -in part to their shared framework- but none are below average. Many shine. Scintillate. It's especially an endeavor of fluid action... assailing the back-section, that is.

A fun collection of sex comedy comics Phil did in the 90s.

Most of the stories include some bit of sci-fi or fantasy so it's definitely for geeks.

Other artists helped with the inking and lettering so there's some slight variation in the stories, but the art and writing is very much Phil's style.

The stories feature good wholesome sex with a lot of humor. Kinda like Cherry Poptart.
You can either see it as porn with a good laugh, or a funny story that includes sex.

Basically it is like a sister compendium to "Housewives at Play". I love Foglio's art style. I read so much of his work as a child. I suppose I really shouldn't be surprised the guy is an adult. I don't think he has done anything I haven't liked. He has done Dragon Magazine and "What's New" all the way to his girl genius series. I love this guy!
