Here on Goodreads I've found only positive reviews, so I suppose it's up to me to correct the misconception that this is a good book.

The story begins with a prologue containing some useless stuff written from the POV of the werewolf bad guy; in the first chapter, Zoey is attacked by said bad guy. In defending herself, she manifests some grit that's going to be drowned in tons of fluff and giggles in the rest of the book and will never come on the surface again. Connor, our hero, comes to save th
I don't have much to say, it was okay. I didn't even make one note while reading this. There was nothing new with characters that just weren't interesting enough to want more. I will not be continuing the series.

Changeling Moon is a good start to a new paranormal romance series. The author has a very tight story along with some great characters. The changeling is very well explained and has some different touches then most shape shifting stories, I very much enjoyed them. You get a suspenseful storyline with plenty of danger.

Now my reasoning for rating it a 3 was These two fall in love quick without to many compilations some may find this to true to believe, I know I did at times. Conner is very loving

This is a wolfish series that I sincerely regret not having started earlier. Not only is Changeling Moon about werewolves (my fave!) but Dani Harper's writing is outstanding! The plot line unfurls seamlessly, the characters are endearing and the ending wraps things up so beautifully that I felt completely sated. Talk about the complete package! I know one thing for certain, Changeling Dream is not going to sit on my shelf for long. I will not make the same mistake twice!

I’ve always had a soft spot for shapeshifters. Unfortunately, in a genre overrun with a plethora of supernaturals, it’s becoming harder and harder to find a paranormal romance that stands out. I’m happy and relieved to say that “Changeling Moon” achieved that goal for me.

Zoey was a heroine that I fell in love with instantly. The scenes in the beginning of the book where she went up against a dangerous animal told me off that bat that this chick is no damsel in distress. She is capable of taking

A well written, intelligent paranormal novel with a very sexy thread. All set within a modern world, including a special kind of “werewolf” - a changeling.

About: When Zoey moves to the Canadian countryside to escape city life she is hoping to find peace and healing. As a reporter with a gift of psychic insight she was devastated at not being able to help the victims of the tragedies that she wrote about. However, the change she sought with this move

I love a good shapeshifter romance. There’s something about a strong woman who can tame The Beast within the man she loves that gets me every time. CHANGELING MOON takes a slightly different approach. Veterinarian shapeshifter Connor Macleod doesn’t need any taming. He’s lived in the same small town as his family for generations, happy with his pack and his life. Zoey Tyler is the one on edge, hoping to start a new life away from her famous physic famil

Wow what an awesome start to this series. I loved it. It was engaging and held my interest until the final word.
I enjoyed meeting all of the characters, they were warm and funny and Changelings...oh and let's not forget sexy alpha males...
Zoey is intelligent and not a push over. Connor is strong and sexy and loves Zoey. I liked the way their relationship developed and it didn't drag out to long.
The whole story moved at a confortable pace. I hung on every word and hated to put it down.

I have to admit I had no clue what to expect when I first picked up Changeling Moon. I had read excellent reviews and couldn’t wait to get started. This book has a few things that I just love. A shifter series centered around a family. A hot and sexy veterinarian alpha male. Who doesn’t love a shifter who loses sleep to help a puppy? And a strong heroine who comes across as tough and smart but not stupid and annoying. And that last one is a tough one to

Oh this is a fun PNR. It has what most people want in their shifter PNRs. A smexy man... too good to be true, and a veterinarian with a huge heart to boot! A kick-ass female who has no problem staring down death with a glare. It is a mate for life book that makes most women who love it swoon (yes, I'm swooning!). However...

There is some action... and not just in the bedroom. There is an EVIL (oh SO evil) villain that I DARE you to like even a smidge. It also packs in a few surprises at the end.

Not a bad changeling story considering it was free AND the plethora out there on the market right now.

Zoey Tyler moved to a smalltown in the Canadian mountains to get away from her psychic ability. Instead she found herself in the middle of a werewolf haven, bitten by a rabid rogue.

Saved by the town’s vet, Conner MacLeod, and barely able to admit her own supernatural power-however slight it seems to her- Conner knows she isn’t ready to hear the truth about the creature who bit her. But she’s m

I feel like this book is like so many others that I have read. I did like how Connor interacted with the animals, sort of wish that there was more of that. I also wish that there was more of the town, but with the ending can see why there wasn’t. I didn’t care for what was revealed with Zoey’s past. It came so late and wasn’t explained very well. I did like Connor’s brothers, they provided some great comic relief. At this point I am not sure if I will consider reading more in this series as whil ...more

Zoey Tyler, editor of a small town local paper, is leaving a council meeting late on a bitter cold winter night when she is all of a sudden attacked by a huge wolf. The wolf manages to get a bite out of Zoey’s leg, but not one to give up, Zoey manages to climb to the top of her vehicle and fight off the wolf with her broken windshield wiper until town vet Connor Macleod comes to her rescue. As Connor brings Zoey back from shock and nurses her bite, he senses something different about her.

I haven't read a werewolf book for awhile so this was a nice book to bring me back into it. The plot wasn't contrived, I really liked the two main characters and the sex scenes were written well.

The main character Zoey is an editor for the local paper and just recently moved to town from a big city. She's trying to get away from her old life and her "gift" of a psychic ability. On the way out of work one day she is attacked by a large wolf. Only, it's not really a wolf but a changeling that's go

Hmm... What to say about this book. It is like that wonderful, decadent dessert that you have been dying to have, and when you do, it is sooooo worth it. So I won this book from Bending the Spine blog (, and I must say that I completely think it is worth the read.

Werewolves as we know it are very popular in the paranormal fiction realm. And I loved them. Then I met the Changelings, and I love them so much better than werewolves. Connor, a vet and a changelin

Lately, I have been disappointed in adult books they just don’t seem to have enough flare. This one was a complete opposite of that! The action was intense, the men protective and strong, and Zoey was the most courageous female I’ve seen within fiction in a long time.

The plot was the perfect pace where we got to truly know the characters and fast enough that we never got bored. Zoey is running away from her paranormal past directly into a more intense paranormal futu

Dani Harper’s book, Changeling Moon, has a fun, fresh, contemporary voice that immediately propels you into the lives of the people who live in the small Canadian town of Dunvegan. With a blend of both humor and suspense, Ms. Harper’s paranormal romance introduces us to a new group of changelings to know and love.

Now before you say – been there done that – listen to this; author Dani Harper has a distinct voice and Changeling Moon has a unique mythology. It’s a great combination of witty banter,

I really enjoyed this first in a new series by Dani Harper. And it was quite delightful for me that she set her story in the Canadian north. Technically well written, it crosses the line to truly enjoyable with well-developed characters and excellent interaction between Connor (a veterinarian) and Zoey (a reporter). With good pacing and a solid story line, this novel also has very natural dialogue. There’s nothing worse than reading a contemporary n

Dani Harper's writing style is so good and what I loved most about Changeling Moon is that you are thrown right into the story from the beginning, no long introductions or long descriptions about all the charachters...

Changeling Moon by Dani Harper

This is my first book by this author, and it won't be the last. I was soooooo not expecting this. I had no idea Harper was such a good writer! I have been getting back into the whole werewolf thing lately, and this work is an excellent addition to the genre. The story is extremely well-written, with a tight, intriguing storyline. The characters were superb. There was just enough info about the werewolf pack and history to be interesting, but without the typical info

This is a first time author for me and I have to say I will read whatever she writes. I loved Changeling Moon. I was able to get into the story right away and never felt like it moved slow. I loved Connor and his brothers. The suspense within the book keeps you coming back for more, but yet the author doesn't take away from the story of Connor and Zoey. I can't wait to read the next one.
