While I have loved the mellow music of Simon and Garfunkel over the years, and certainly respected and admired their low-key conservative lyrics, this book just did not give enough background for Paul Simon himself. Perhaps it was basically written to delineate the albums and singles of Paul Simon, with and without Art G. That too is fine and ok. I just wanted a bit more of the real Paul Simon. Maybe the man himself will write his memoirs someday.
