What the chakras convey about our health and wellbeing. Spiritual and physical messages our ailments convey. Includes an index for car ailments on the basis that your car reflects your attitude and state of well being
I learnt recently that I was raised on this book, in the very literal sense that my mother preferred to almost exclusively consult these pages over medical establishment opinion (one man’s trash, etc.). Despite never shying away from questioning some of her parenting techniques I have to say she had a point. This book fucking slaps. Haters will turn their nose up at it but be sliding back within the week asking what Annette has to say about a hurty right knee. Get in losers, we’re ascending to the next plane of metaphysical understanding
You cannot be serious?? This book is utter drivel, without factual basis of any kind, an insult to intellect but with the saving grace that it is in many places hilarious in its claims. Such as... treating your car with respect and loving it as any other living thing (What?? No need for routine servicing, then) and... snake bite will result in you not wanting to live... and so on.
PLEASE, do yourself a favour and read something that makes some sense! Annette is a genuine idiot.
Yep you guessed it....another from my 'desert island list'! A great Aussie alternative to Louise Hay and it even gives you extras like whats happening in your life with symtoms that your car is displaying!
This book is one of those truly original, make you think outside the box books; which I LOVE. The reason I gave this book a three and not a five is that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this information yet. That should not reflect on the book itself, but I was hoping that it would give me some good pointers on how to apply the awesome information that was taught within its pages. But like a friend of mine has taught me: "If you find something that doesn't sit quite right, or you run into a wall with it. Just set it at the back of your brain to simmer and the answer will come." So that's what I'm going to do. When I know what to do with the information contained it this book I just might come back and change this book to a higher rating!
If you are into any type of energy medicine, then book will be very useful. It ties up beautifully with the soul's life journey to learn how to overcome the ego and heal the heart through looking inwards and finding the love. I have used this book as a index for the last 20 years and I am beginning to use it more often and I become older. Sometimes when things are not apparent to you at first and things start to go wrong, when you open the index and start researching it aspect of the body, it becomes a mirror from which you see what others may see and that which can't.
Excellent book, for one who likes to explore the area of how one's thoughts (any single thought) has an effect on one's body. This book is not just to read or study but it is a reference book to live with. Whenever a body symptom can manifest, this book can offer new ideas and put things to perspective. I bought this book over 15 years ago and I still at times reference it for others and myself.
What an absolute embarassment. This book takes victim-blaming to the next level. Annette does some impressive, Olympics-level mental gymnastics to come to conclusions that simply blame you for everything from being bitten by a shark to having AIDS. Let me give you some examples.
"Bite: Dog or Shark Take note of where the bite is on your body. You have attracted the animal to bite you because you are not loving yourself, so you put up your defences." What the FUCK?
"AIDS Whatever area you have weakened by your negative thoughts against yourself, that is where the virus will strike you. So, make sure that you are involved, successful and fulfilled with your life to stop those wars inside you that are not peace." EXCUSE ME???
Annette even has the reason you've developed Hepatitis A! "You have allowed your feelings to be hurt and now you do not want to learn anything about yourself." Thanks, Annette!
Absolute nonsense and a laughing stock. Waste of $8 even secondhand.
