*The Penis Book* is an interesting "gag gift" of a book that you can give to friends or keep for yourself. In it are interesting facts and tidbits about the penis. This book is designed for anyone (men, gay, straight, women) to read.
In the book, you'll read about if size matters or not. You'll read how straight and gay men treat their penises. You'll learn international words for the penis. You'll learn to vary your metaphors for "spanking the monkey".
There are quirky stuff in there as well. Such as what goes on in the "penis head" toy manufacturing company. You'll read what men think they'll be or do if they didn't have a penis. You'll also read what women would do if they had a penis. You'll read quotes about bulges and self-sucking and odd news.
There are also some little known facts and historical tidbits. A mechanism device was created during one of the World Wars to curb wet dreams. You'll read up on the different names for body piercings in the groin area, such as the Prince Albert. You'll learn of a festival celebration of the penis in Asia.
There are plenty of pictures in this little book. However, none of them are pornographic. There are pictures of penis candies, metal penises, cartoon penises, penis-shaped toys, tattooed penises, painted penises and many others. You'll get to analyzed paintings of penises. It's like a world of penises in this book!
Weird quotes and poems are also provided. You'll laugh, groan and maybe nod in agreement. You'll share with your friends or partner. You'll roll your eyes. You might learn a thing or two.
My favorite parts are the different names of the penis around the world and the different metaphors for "rounding up tadpoles". Some of them would just make you laugh.

3.5 star read I knew way more about Penises than I would like to admit. That’s okay though lol. The things I did learn were pretty funny.
“Plater” is slang for a blow job !! Take that with a grain of salt humans.

This is a great little book all about penises.
There’s a relationship between a man and his penis, and that in turn eventually becomes an altered relationship once he discovers sex, and it is once again altered when he brings a partner into his life. The Penis Book is an effort to understand that relationship, to mock it, to celebrate it, to study it, to puzzle at it, and ultimately help the reader assess what their own relationship to penises are. It’s designed to teach basic facts and lessons about a part of the human anatomy that, as Cohen states in the introduction, “is tinier than a Chihuahua” and “can stir up so many emotions, steamy page turners, phone sex businesses, visits to the shrink, babies, dirty jokes, sleepless nights, dreamy sighs, lies, embarrassed giggles. And so much fun.” (3). Everyone has a penis story.

Pequeño libro con datos interesantes o inútiles. Todo depende de la óptica. Se agradece eso si que las ilustraciones sean más artísticas que pornograficas y cargados de humor. Es un agradable libro para pasar el rato o para superar un bloqueo lector.

A cute and fun little read, you'll learn all sorts of entertaining trivia about the penis. This might make a good coffee table book for its entertainment value, but other then that, it doesn't have a lot of merit. Once you read it once, you probably won't ever pick it up again. Still, it is a fun little trip around the world of the penis.

Cohen’s enthusiasm made me laugh and made my eyes go up in shock. I loved penises before, but Cohen’s sense of awe, wonder, and humor makes me love them even more. Sure, some of the jokes are crude and a bit sexist, but I can’t hate a book that gave me a new sense of curiosity.

A very edutaining (it's like educational and entertaining) coffee table book, filled with cool artwork and snappy writing. I read the norwegian version, and it did make me laugh a few times.

This is more a picture book than other thing… most of the information shared I already know it (I am wondering If I know too much about penis) the jokes were funny.
Not the type of book I read but sometimes try new things are good. I will give my my gay friend. I am sure he will love the “open here” pages.

This was a hoot! I would rate it higher but it is just too short (pun intended). Seriously, I pulled the penis (book)out and before I knew it I was at the end. It was over. If it had more staying power I (more information, stats, lore, photo, whatever)would have given it more stars.

Schnell durchgeblättert. Irgendwie "unbefriedigend". Entweder hätte man einen schönen Bildband draus machen sollen, oder aber eine ordentliche Sammlung an Fakten, Kuriositäten, Witzigkeiten...etc. So aber ist es nur ein klitzekleines bißchen von erstem und etwas von zweitem. Nix was ich wirklich interessant gefunden hätte.

Read through a bookring, it was not necessarily the type of book I would pick up. Not because I'm a prude, but more because I tend to read novels and this had a lot of pictures. Nice pictures, though! :) A fun read and made for a giggle or two in the chats.

This was funny. It was a gag gift/stocking stuffer, but being the bookworm I am, I had to read it. I got a few laughs and surprisingly I did learn a thing or two.
