Like all great religions, Buddhism teaches the importance of spiritual, or holy, values. This religion teaches that if a person has a pure mind, everything he does will be pure and decent, and that if he has a pure heart, all happiness will come to him. First published in 1925, Buddha's Teachings was originally edited by Japanese scholars of Buddhism before WWII and distri

This book is short an easy to follow. I find interesting learning about different religions so I gave it a shot. Even though I am atheist, I think it's important to know about the values that religions are based on. This book is simple but I really liked it. I had some trouble with the examples, as I found them a bit weird for me because of the cultural differences, but they were clear. I admit I might do a little research about buddhism now ;)
Very short extract of Bugghas teachings and sayings. Some of them were pretty interesting. the books covers topics like watchfulness, the fools, wise men, infinite freedom, good and evil, life, beyond life, self-possession, joy, forsaking anger, righteousness, endurance and the Brahmin.
