I had a hard time rating this book a two or three stars. In a way I could even give it four.

I love cowboys, and I really liked the premise of the book.

What I didn't like was:

The way everyone treated Libby child-like. It was annoying.

The five hundred "pet names" Aron made up for her. I can deal with those really but when you call your lover "munchkin" or "lilbit" it felt like he was talking to a kid. Not to mention Libby-poo, Libby-bell, Libby-lou, Baby, Babydoll, Sweetheart. I started getting confused a little.

Oh and when Libby asked him if she could lick his "winkie" I rolled my eyes so much it gave me a headache. Seriously. I think it was meant to be funny, but it made me want to gag myself!

Anyway I do plan on reading the second book. Hopefully it's not filled with child-like names.

Somewhere between a 2 & 3.5 stars!

I saw this series had high ratings and hoped for a second cowboy erotica to enjoy. No such luck. Sable Hunter is no Lorelei James.

The story is just a rickety frame for a bunch of sex. Some might think that's what erotica is, but I think many of us have a different expectation ... because we've seen better. The sex scenes don't even cut it. There's no real engagement in the interludes, maybe because they're filled with so much purple prose you don't even want to read them. So the story is unlikable, the intimacy is unenjoyable and the characters are meh.

I was considering DNFing this one, but I decided to skim to the end. I will not be continuing this series.

This is possibly the worst "Erotica" I've ever read. And that is saying something. ****Spoilers and quotes ahead!***

Actual line "Aron, can I kiss your winkie?" yup.

"Freeing his enormous cock from his jeans, he gave it room to stretch and bob like a hungry python seeking a meal" You heard me. (Btw, his enormous cock is said to be eight inches long and FIVE inches wide.. not girth... just by looking at it.. she can see five inches wide FYI)

"Huge plumes of cum sprayed up and over the windowsill, raining down the side of the barn"

This was all in the first like 15 percent of the book. I laughed for a long while, then put the book aside.

It was ridiculous. The heroine was a twit, whom everyone treated like a child! It was disturbing. The hero was taking testosterone supplements, I'm sure. And calling each other "baby" and "sweetie" incessantly (five seconds after meeting each other) was fucking moronic.

(Might I also add, someone who has gone through that much chemotherapy and treatment is not going to have that perfect curvy body.. what a bunch of crock)

Well I have to admit this book was hot!!! Normally him saying this is just sex and don't read anything into this would have me saying HELL NO, instead I was saying HELL YEAH! Lol. Love it. She was such a strong determined lady and so fearless! I just admired her so much. And he was the total package! Faithful loyal a family man who had been hurt by his cold hearted ex wife. He deserved the heroine. He had not had sex in over 4 years because his wife disgusted him not because he was still in love with her ( he hated the bitch). The whole story was awesome and the bar fight was classic. This is how a cowboy story should be done hot and loving. They had an amazing relationship that was built up. Not this let's get married because I want you crap! They did fall in insta-lust but they worked at the love part. If you read only one in this series, this is it!!! I loved it and it's a keeper for me. Awesome!!!
Warring however the names he calls her are cheesy! But I thought it added to their flavour.

Sweet and Hot!

I liked this one.. it was a sweet easy read. At times, it was really over the top sweet and I developed several toothaches throughout the story but I expected this going in so it didn't bother me. I'm in the mood for that right now after reading some gritty, angsty, intense books lately. I enjoy something like this series occasionally that's just fun to read. The fact that it had PLENTY of VERY hot scenes was just icing on the cake.

We've got sexy cowboy Aron..he's the oldest of the McCoy brothers and head of the family since their parents past away a few years back. He heads up the ranch... He's been married before to a real bitch that almost tore the family apart. It was a short loveless marriage but it was enough to make Aron steer clear of women for a while. He's been in a long dry spell....

Then we've got sweet little nut Libby...she's been crushin on Aaron for years..she's also been fighting for her life due to cancer. She's in remission and she wants to live life to the fullest for as long as she can.. She wants to do everything those hot erotic novels she reads all the time talk about. She's ready to put to use what she thinks she's learned through them. She's got a list to go through before her times up and the most special thing on that list is Aron..

Libby is taking over for the McCoys normal housekeeper for a few months due to a family emergency. Bess brought Libby in to take over things for her. Bess knows Libby's cancer secret and she also knows about Libby's long time feelings for Aron. Aron was a few years ahead of Libby in school so he doesn't remember her. His brother Jacob was closer to Libby's age so he knows her well and all that she's been through. When Aron lays eyes on Libby for the first time he is just stunned, floored, and wrapped around her little finger all within 5 min. Their connection was immediate and sizzling. They went at each other quick and didn't let up. They had sex pretty much everywhere and every time was so freaking HOT.. major hot.. panting hot. HOT.

Although it was silly sweet at times, I still liked it. Watching them fall all over each other was fun and waiting to find out what would happen with Libby's cancer was a deeper element to the story that helped to counter the super sweet stuff.

This was an easy read with zero angst, no cliffhanger, and an HEA. The next book in the series Hot on Her Trail is Jacob and Jessie's story and it seems like it will be just as OTT sweet as this one was.

Happy reading!

Cowboy Heat (Hell Yeah #1) by Sable Hunter was free but is now $4.99. I think the price is too high for a straight up yeehaw cowboy erotica, but if you like purple prose, alpha cowboy loving with an the innocent but willing heroine who’s favorite catch phrase is- “Ceez-n-Crackers!”, it might just be the story you’re looking for.

Libby is in remission from her cancer that could come back at anytime. Because Libby has been so sick, she has never been in a romantic relationship, kissed a man or had sex. To make up for it, she enjoys reading naughty romances where phrases such as, “hungrily, she worked her lips down his cock”, and “this instrument of delight would soon make into her empty, aching pussy” are mentioned. Libby also has a dream of becoming a designer of handbags and doesn’t want to be a short order cook any longer. Libby has been offered a cushy job as a temporary cook and housekeeper at the Tebow Ranch for a few months while the housekeeper in residence there goes on vacation. Lily is friends with one of the McCoy brothers (there’s five in total and all “sexy as sin’), Jacob, who knows about her cancer but keeps it a secret from his siblings so they don’t treat her differently. Aron McCoy is still suffering from divorcing his viper of a wife. Libby has a small crush on Aron but since she thinks he doesn’t know she’s alive, she’ll keep her feelings to herself.

And then when Aron meets Libby, his alpha passiveness comes out and he wants to claim her for his own. After he catches Libby swimming naked in a stock tank and getting in touch with herself, if you catch my meaning (wink wink), he’ll give her some home down TLC that will have her boneless with pleasure.

The sex scenes in this book had my dying in laughter because they come across as more ha-ha than sexy and titillating. Aron is pleasantly surprised Libby is such a good kisser because it’s obvious she’s so innocent and must be a virgin. The reason Libby is so skilled at kissing is all the sucking she has done on cucumbers for practice and reading hundreds of erotic romances. Aron thinks Libby’s nipples are pretty and she loves how Aron’s beard feels there, among other places. Soon these two are riding one another all over the ranch and at one point they both have sex on a horse, which is possible because the horse is so “well behaved. Aron is so enamored with Libby, his nickname for her is Libtastic and he even goes as far to help her shave a certain area on her person to increase her pleasure during sex. Aron is a wonderful giver when it comes to love making with Libby.

There’s not much of a plot other then Libby keeping her cancer prognosis from Aron and Aron’s slutty one-dimensional ex-wife showing up to cause problems. After awhile I felt the sex scenes were much like a lather, rinse repeat and the dialogue overall lacking.

Again if you’re a fan or an alpha cowboy male who introduces the sickly sweet Mary Sue type heroine to dirty sex that gives her too many orgasms to count, Cowboy Heat may be the one for you.

Meet the McCoy brothers:

Aron – the boss
Jacob – the compassionate one
Joseph – the daredevil
Noah – the businessman
Isaac – the bad boy
Nathan – the "baby"

After the death of their parents, Aron McCoy stepped up and held the family together. Along with his brothers, he runs the family ranch and their holdings. Bitter over his failed marriage has made him swear off women, vowing never to marry again.

Libby Fontaine's leukemia is finally in remission, and she vows to make every moment count by experiencing as much as she can until her next check up. Though she'd love nothing more than to fall in love, get married and have children one day, her future is just to uncertain to put any man through that. But she can have hope and fun in the mean time. What a happy coincidence that the McCoy's housekeeper was friends with Libby's mother, so when she has to leave to take care of her pregnant daughter, she asks Libby to take her place temporarily and take care of the McCoys. Libby is only too happy to accept since she's had a crush on Aron since high school.

Their mutual attraction flares to life the second he lays eyes on her. After that it's Yee-haw all the way.

There's nothing I didn't like. It was light, fluffy, a little silly in some areas, serious when Joseph gets into an accident, but it charmed me. The plot moved quickly, and Libby didn't waste any time gaining experience ... in many things. I laughed a lot throughout the book because the hero seemed exaggerated - from the size of his ... to the power of his .... *wipes brow*. Then there were the nicknames he came up with for her – sweet, annoying, sappy and silly, but I found that rather cute.

Libby took to Aron and romance like a fish to water. She didn't seem to have trouble adjusting to anything Aron came up with (equestrian sex, hell yeah!). Ms Hunter writes some of the hottest scenes I've ever read, and I find myself blushing a little thinking back on them. The ending was really sweet, maybe a little corny but it worked for me. I can't wait to read Jacob's story next.

I am rating this a 4.5 for a highly enjoyable read.
I wanted a read that was high on romance, light in tone, funny,a little angst, and of course sme scorching hot sex scenes.Cowboy Heat delivered on all counts ,the " cheese " factor was pretty high too lol!!! Sable Hunter, you have a new fan in this romance reader.
Knowing that the heroine ,Libby, was in remission from Leukemia,I read this book with my heart in my hand, there was a scene when the hero found out about the heroine's cancer that had me choking up with actual tears in my eyes.I look forward to reading the rest of this series with these hunky ,cowboy brothers.

Very romantic, very sweet and Super hot. Loved the secondary characters and really loved the heroine so much. Her bubbly quirky attitude was a refreshing change. Innocent and brave is something I love. So many parts of this book I highlighted. I laughed out loud and I burst of tears. That shows me that I just might have found an author to stalk.. (wink)
I am sad I have to skip book 3. I really wanted Josephs book but can't read about him with other women. Oh well there are lots more. Diving in soon.

What can I say? Sometimes a light, easy read with great characters and a good story is just what you need.

Unfortunately, I would have rated this story higher if not for the rather cheesy dialogue.

Aron is well.. perfect. Tall, handsome, wealthy, uh... a cowboy *drool*.

..and Libby is just a sweetheart! Loved everything about her.

Good story, great characters, hotter-than-hell sex, uber-dominant male lead, and great girl trying to find her happily-ever-after...DONE!

Onto the next book in the series..Jacob's story *sigh*

Read the full review at Dear Author

I’m always on the lookout for cheap, fun and short erotica, and this one caught my eye because it was free, it had decent ratings here and on Amazon, and the blurb was well-written.

I don't think other reviewers were reading the same book I was. I hate it when that happens.

The premise actually might have worked; the set-up in the first few pages was amusing enough to keep me reading. But once Libby and Aron got their eyes and hands on each other, it quickly went downhill and stayed there.

And the similes. My GOD, the similes.

Kindle location 639:

“You taste so good, baby,” he praised her as he licked his way to the pearl that peeked out from its little hood, like a shy child waiting to see if it would be invited to play.

I really hope I’m not the only one who finds that *truly* disturbing.

It’s now back to the regular price of $4.99 (free in Kindle Lending Library), and it’s going on my "Thank God It Was Free" shelf. I wasn’t expecting award-winning literature, but good lord, this is a piece of work - and not in a good way.

One word comes to my mind... Ridiculous. Honestly thats what I felt about the book, there were some sweet parts but the sex scenes and most of the dialogue was ridiculous.. Who talks like these characters do? It didnt feel real and there were too many ridiculously worded sex scenes..

Also winkie-- honestly? and that whole scene/scenes were completely ridiculous. This chick falls from a horse, hits her head on a fence post on the way down, is laying in a puddle of blood then just a couple of hours later goes on to have her first go around with oral sex, and then proceeds to ask him to face eff her... AND HE DOES IT! Literally she wraps his hands around her head (one would think he would worry about her injury or a possible concussion instead of getting his rocks off.) and face effs her.

I also agree with one of the reviewers (cant remember if the person is on here or Amazon) but pick ONE pet name and stick with it.. All of them were pretty sweet but honestly it got ridiculous just how many he used..

This author set up her following books pretty well though..
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Super duper sweet romance, with LOTS of sexy scenes. There is a "sweeter version" that has less sex. I am glad I got the "erotic" version. The sex was great, the dialogue...just ok. So I would not have wanted less of the good part!

This book is about the easiest book you'll ever read. Low/no angst, lots of hot and fun sex, big burly hot cowboys. Not a manwhore , no cheating or OW drama. The Hero is great. The heroine is a little too nice but not at all bad. Knows what she wants and goes after it with enthusiasm. Since he never tries to hurt her, her being nice and forgiving is not frustrating.

If this had so many of my preferred attributes in a story, then why the mediocre rating? Don't let my rating put you off from reading. For me, the quality of the writing, the language, phrases and dialogue where just not worthy of a higher score. Plus I like a little conflict. I get that this story did not warrant unnecessary outside drama, but I prefer something more for a high score. It was edited (thank goodness), but it used turns of phrase that were not natural to me; so it kept throwing me off and not allowing me to be immersed in the story. This was written awhile ago and I am hoping they get better. I am definitely going to dive right into the next book in the series as I am very interested in seeing these brothers get their own HEAs. So far, the first and second book in the series have been available on Kindle Unlimited.

Soooo totally safe!

I read this very quickly off of my Kindle last night.(I was looking for another book and saw this one...not to mention it was a free book.) It has romance, humor and realistic life situations...not to mention Cowboys.

Libby...aka...Liberty Bell is such a selfless young lady, who despite her odds, and dealing with Cancer for the better part of her young life seems to be such an optimistic person and so giving. I love the immediate spark that takes place between her and Aron. He has been the literal love of her life and she has followed whatever he has done since high school.

The tragedy surrounding the McCoy family and Aron who has to be like a father to his younger brothers, have shaped him and the family has been none the less very prosperous. Aron had a failed marriage to horrible woman named Sabrina, and remained celebate for years...that is until Libby comes into the picture.

If you like romance and Cowboys this is a very good read. I will be reading more by this author in the future.

I wondered how to start this review and then it came to me, I would speak about the quirky catchphrases Libby uses throughout the story. Example: Cheez-n-Crackers. My first impression was "Who speaks like this in real life?" Then after I yelled out "Hot Dog" to my husband, I realize I do. As for using words like "winkie", it may not be sexy or romantic but it wasn't supposed to be used in that context. I found myself laughing and again when Aron yelled back "He did not have a winkie." Sable did a marvelous job in showing the playfulness and sexiness between these two people.

I want to give high marks to Sable for painting a wonderful picture of Tebow Ranch. Her descriptions of the McCoy men were top notch too. It was easy to step into the pages and feel like you were right there with them.

This story had many emotional highs and lows. Your heart will most definitely ache for several characters. Just you wait!

Cute, cavity inducing, schmaltzy romance between an adorkable Mary Sue virgin w/ health issues and a grumpy, cynical divorced Texas cowboy in Central Texas. Yeehaw!

Lots of brothers.
Lots of sex.
Sex in hammock. Sex on the desk. Sex on the table. Sex on the sewing table. Sex in the lake.

No gross action with brothers, thank God.
Hell yeah, I will read about the brothers as well. Ha.

Central Texas in April aka bluebonnet time...

This was a good book. It was entertaining. But man was it over the top cheesy. The pet names, it became annoying at times. But I did like the story line. Aron was a sexy cowboy that was the eldest MacCoys. Libby was very sweet and innocent. They hooked up within hours of meeting and fell in love right away. Overall this was a sweet, sexy book with annoying cheesiness at times.

Cowboy Heat by Sable Hunter
Aron & Libby
NO CRACK IN THIS LIBERTY BELL!!!
5 stars

Wow... I mean wow... the opening line of this book in the Prologue got me all hot and bothered... it grabbed me by the hair and pulled me down!!!! I can't even repeat it, Amazon would have a heart attack if I did!!!! Just know this, you're gonna love this book!!!

There was a lot going on here... so many issues to deal with... you've got betrayal, life threatening diseases, death, family, love, etc... you get the picture... this book had my heart in knots until around 80% (kindle version). It's a 196 pages long and for me, that was just right!! So, with that being said... it definitely was not a "light-hearted" read, but it wasn't uber dark either... there is a ton going on, but dealt with in the most honorable fashion... I'm telling you these McCoy boys... I need to take one home, strip him, and analyze him!!! LOL!!

First we have our beautiful Libby (Liberty Bell) and she's dealing with so much, but never lets it get her down... what a strong spirit she has!! The sayings she comes up with... I'll be posting a couple of them here just cause she made me laugh out loud more times than I can count... "CHEEZ-N-CRACKERS!" she is definitely a "hedonist!" even with all the crap she's dealt... she's still always on the pursuit of pleasure (and happiness)!! She even says... "I'm on the pill cause I'm Scouting boys!" Cracked me up!!! Now, Aron... oh Aron.. what a hot mess!!! He's the jilted one... living life like a Catholic Priest... well, not really... but after a bad marriage, he wants nothing to do with "forever" or "commitment" or "attachment" or... well, you get it... Enter Libby and all hell breaks lose inside his head (both of them!!). "GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY" I loved, loved, loved these two... great way to open a series with these two dorks who think they want something completely different than what their hearts want!!!! The rest of the family is awesome too... The McCoy brothers are what I like to call... "the hot bunch!"

At 196 pages, the story flew by... before I knew it, I was already reading the intro for the next book... very effortless to read... and even though you might think 196 pages isn't really all that long... Sable seems to capture anything and everything that you as the reader will need to feel fulfilled!! Totally laughed out loud at the "Godzilla-sized snake..." that was effing hilarious!!! Oh the hanging out with the brothers, the bar fights, and all the nicknames... Libby-mine, Libtastic, Libalicious...

All is all, this book was squeezing my heart until around 80% where it kindly released it's tight hold on me only to grab it again... You'll love it... get a copy today.

'"They wanted what you and I have to be real..."

"Tell them that it's real." He grew very still. She continued to speak. "For whatever time it lasts, it is real. That's no lie, not on my part anyway. I'm not pretending. I think you're the most wonderful man in the world, and I'm the luckiest woman to get to spend even one hour in your arms."...."So tell them not to worry, while I'm here, I'll treasure you. And after I'm gone, you'll be so used to being loved, that you'll turn every cactus and rock upside down looking for someone to replace me."' - Cowboy Heat by Sable Hunter

I have to be honest. When I started reading this on the recommendations of Romance Authors Emily A Lawrence and Tamara Hoffa, I didn't know what to expect.

I wish I had read it sooner.

Cowboy Heat is the first in a series about the McCoy brothers, their women, Tebow Ranch, and how their lives are shaped for the better by the women they love.

Libby has always loved Aron from afar. She has been given a reprieve from her illness and she intends to make use of every day of her life. Aron has been scarred by marriage and refuses to fall into that trap again. But when Libby arrives at the ranch, Aron is at a loss when he sees her and all he can say is "Tag!" (You'll have to read the book to find out why!)

They enter the relationship for different reasons. For Libby, it's love. For Aron? Understandably he doesn't want to fall again. But Liberty Bell Fontaine's sweetness and light melts Aron's resolve.

Libby's joie de vivre is contagious. I was laughing as I read the story because her antics to live each day to the fullest sometimes lets Aron think he's about to have a coronary not to mention a hard on. Her innocence is endearing as well-

"Jacob said that the cow's tits hurt if she isn't milked regularly." (Libby)

"It's teats on a cow, baby - not tits." (Aron)

"Same thing." (Libby)

There are so many endearing scenes in this book that makes me literally want to hug Libby for being a part of Aron's life. There is also Freedom personified (again you have to read the story!). Aron has given Libby the freedom to live. Libby has given Aron the freedom to love.

And then there's the sex. It's so steamy that turning on the hot water tap in the shower isn't needed to steam the mirrors!

This isn't just a love story about a boy meeting a girl. This is a story of a man hurt by past decisions and a woman who comes into his life to remove that hurt. This is a story of a woman who lives to the fullest on borrowed time and a man who will take every day of her life to show how much he loves her.

Ms Hunter has, to my mind, brought back something that is sorely lacking nowadays. The belief in miracles. And Hope. It just so happens that she's used a love story as a medium for these.

I really enjoyed this book. The story pulled me in, and pulled at my heart. Part of the story was emotional, and the other part was pure heated romance between Libby, and Aron. No one is promised tomorrow, and sometimes Miracles happen. Each day is a gift, It's up to us on how we use each day.

Libby has been battling Leukemia for years. She has never been kissed, and has never had a boyfriend. Libby does read lots of books. All of her experience in the love department is knowledge she has gained through books. she does not have many friends. Her long stays in the hospital kept her away from most people. Libby is in remission. He doctors last orders was for Libby to go out and Live, have fun, fall in Love. The kind of cancer that Libby has battled normally does not stay in remission for long. Her doctor said he would pray for a miracle.

Libby has two months to do all the things in life she has dreamed of doing before her next appointment. She finds herself working at a ranch. She has always wanted to ride a horse. The first day at the ranch she came face to face with Aron. He is the cowboy that she has had a crush on for years. There is instant chemistry between the two. The sparks of the attraction and love affair burns the pages. This book is the tamed down version. Don't get me wrong, it's still Hot.

Aron is part of a big family. Their parents died a few years ago. The brothers has banned together. Any time one of the McCoy brothers was threatened or in trouble, they all rallied to defeat any adversary who might jeopardize their safety. I loved the close relationship of the brothers. They had each other's backs. Always watching out for each other.

Sample from chapter 5 - "Why are you do determined to live like there's no tomorrow?" His innocent question ripped a hole in Libby's heart. "None of us are promised tomorrow, Aron. I want to live today just in case there is no tomorrow. But rest assured. All of this other stuff is just fluff. I want to do it, don't get me wrong. I have a battle to fight and an enemy to face, so I want to enjoy my life now - today." Taking his face in her hands, she held him still, so there was no chance that he could miss what she had to say. "But, what you have given me, the gift of you, puts the rest of it to shame."
***********
One of my favorite lines came out of chapter 8.
"You are my reason for exiting, Libby. I love you with a love deeper than the sea, a love that will last longer than forever."

Aron is the eldest of the McCoy boys, it's been four since he's been with a woman. He's been burned in the past by his ex-wife and he isn't looking for anything serious, in fact he isn't looking at all. Then he see's Libby standing in his kitchen, and he wants her, he wants her really bad.

Libby has leukemia, she's been battling it for years, but good news she is now in remission and wants to go out and live her life for however long she has. She's read many erotic romance novels, and she wants to experience all that she has read, and it's Aron that she wants to do them with.

I'm not going to lie at times, lots of times, I found Cowboy Heat to be very cheesy. Painfully cheesy even. I'm not trying to be mean, or bash this book. But somethings had be shaking my head and thinking oh dear. At the very end of this book, there was a random character written in. At first I was thinking what is the point of this person, but now that I am finished I know the authors purpose in introducing us. She was just leading us up to the next book in this series, because this book ending doesn't feel well like an ending. The story continues in Hot on Her Trail.

So considering all that, I'm unsure as to how to rate it. Because I'm interested enough in the characters to know what happens next but I can't get past painful cheese factor. Very torn. Flip flopping between 3 and 2.5 stars. I know wow low, I think if the author hadn't used some of the lines/words she did I would have given it much higher.

There is a Chinese proverb that says, and I quote: To Read a Book the first time is to make an acquaintance with a new friend. To read it for a second time is to meet an old one.

The first version of Cowboy Heat was my introduction to Ms Sable Hunter's writing and work. I still remember that I wanted to start with the first book of the series and then move on from there.

And I haven't looked back. It is still heart-warmingly beautiful.

Like my first review of Cowboy Heat, this review of the sweeter version is just like the Chinese Proverb. I have met an old friend in reading Cowboy Heat, Sweeter version. The appeal to me is still there, the love between Aron and Libby is still something anyone would long for. For me Aron is still The Man and Libby has such a generosity of heart that I cannot help but wish to emulate her.

I still find it enjoyable reading Libby's exclamations like Cheese-n-Crackers! or her humonguous fear of snakes which I can so empathize with or when she doesn't differentiate between tits or teats (which always makes me chuckle). Oh and "Freedom", as though Aron and Libby were meant for each other from the very start, with the blessing of Aron's mother.

Once again, kudos to Ms Hunter!

Hello Cowboy Heat, Sweeter version. Hello old friend.

I was buzzing with excitement after just reading the prologue, where what i read made me laugh and shead a tear....yes already. I just knew from then this was going to be one heck of a good book. Its been a real page turner, and kept me reading until the wee small hours.
The story of a young women been given a reprieve from her illness, and not knowing for how long. She intends to grab life with both hands, live and love to the fullest. Taking a job for a few months to help look after a family of brothers, one of whom she has had a crush on for years, she's looking for some adventure. Hoping to make some of her dreams and wishes come true.
As soon as Aron saw her there was that instant attraction. After experiencing a disasterous marriage, there was no way he was ever getting serious again, he was just looking for a casual affair, some fun. Libby just knocked him for six, with her kindhearted nature, funny little ways ( made me laugh) and a passion to please in more ways than one.
Do miracles happen....they just might.

Highly recommend this wonderfull book. I am about to start the next in the series and I can't wait to read whats instore for the next brother.

So this book I kept going back and forth on what I thought was going to happen. That is something that rarely happens, so i had to give it 5 stars.
When we meet Libby, she is at the hospital getting her check up from having leukemia. We quickly realize that her life is not like those around her. She is a strong female character who likes to please others. With her history, she is trying to live her life to the fullest, including wanting to try dangerous things.
Aron is a rough manly cowboy who lives with his brothers. He is the oldest of the bunch and almost like the father figure since his parents have passed. He has not had the best luck since his ex-wife was more so a gold digger than a mate. He is guarded, not looking to ever marry and celibate.
These two together show us how life is worth living. It is best to live in the present and not worry about the what ifs in the future.
