I love a well-written western novel, and this one was pretty good. The story moved along well and I wasn't disappointed by the ending. I especially liked how it began in the present day and then looked back into history for the main part of the storyline. My only complaint was the occasional taking the Lord's name in vain. I think that the swearing could still have expressed the author's desired effect without adding God's name to it.
