The Rabbits' Race is such a delightfully charming story. Delaronde (who is impressing me not for the first time, and certainly not the last I'm sure) weaves a story that has lessons about hearing the wisdom of our grandparents and elders, as well as about friendship and sharing. Virginia McCoy's illustrations are gorgeous, and I can't get enough of them.

I recommend this for all ages. It's such a sweet read, and definitely worth the time. I look forward to seeing more from both the author and the
