I wish these books were more like the Christy Miller series and we got to follow DJ longer. The ending feels kind of abrupt and I don't love the epilogue. I mean, it's cool to see where she ends up, but it doesn't feel satisfactory and I'd almost rather have had it end before the epilogue and I get to imagine my own ending.
These are cute books. Fun for horse lovers, clean, and great for younger teen girls. All other writing critiques aside, I love that they are written with deep point of view!!!!
Very good descriptions , leading the reader to feel they would know the characters of they to meet them. The information concerning training and riding show horses also well done.
I really appreciate these collections! The series is so back to back that it makes reading it easier, not having to wait for the next book from the library!
