This is more of a reference manual than an actual book, but saying that, it's probably the book I pick up most often. It gives info and current value on rare records, of which I am an avid fan, 3500 LPS and 300 45's and counting, and then they're the CD and cassettes and music DVDS.
I love when I go to a brocante/loppis/fleamarket/record fair, find some records. Come home and see if they are listed. My biggest prize so far has been Andy Fernbach's LP which I bought for 10 SEK, roughly a Euro.
Lafayette Afro-Rock Band which isn't listed, I paid 15 SEK, 2 euro, but it's not listed ( listed in the rival of this book) which I won't mention for 500 GBP. The killer though is the Beatles, I have a mint copy of the White album no 0001024, according to this book it's worth 700 GBP, enough to buy half an acre in some remote part of Ireland ;)
Great Book if you re a collector of records, otherwise, pick up another book.
Date I finished this book etc is irrelevant here I guess, maybe when the new volume for 2014 comes out.
