This book is great!! I ordered it from Waterstones after purcashing a new foal, who is very cute but a very naughty little colt! I have already used some of the methods described to good effect and am now looking forward to using this book as he grows up.

The books starts with simple imprinting and halter breaking as a foal, through getting used to equipment, backing and riding out. There are problem solving sections and a chapter on handling Entires. The whole method is based on body language and on being firm, but fair. By speaking to your horse as if you were another horse, he will learn faster and be a better horse for it. Some of the methods seem like plain common sense, but occassionally even the best horse rider needs reminding.

Definitely one I would recommend.
