I had a hard time connecting some of the devotional writings to the scripture for the day, but all in all, it was a good yearlong journey.

Received it as a gift decades ago, when my best buddy died, but only reading it now, after my father has gone Home. The thoughts on (certain specific days) were spot on, and so meaningful. The Lord truly reaches out to meet us at our point of need, even going so far as to set things up 20 years ahead of time, before we even have a clue we'd have (that particular need).

Didn't find it very helpful spiritually. It was really just stories about the contributers lives connected to a bible verse. Gave it to my Mother-In-Law who loves this conference.
