The structural and covering systems of our early 1970s home make much more sense to me now. It's like finding the missing user guide for our house! It's nice to be able to recognize individual components in an assembly when I'm trying to disassemble something for a repair. Now if only Tommy from This Old House was here narrating it for me... :) Couldn't recommend this book more. Took a month or two of picking through it before bed, but let me tell you a few pages knock you out cold and make you smarter!
