I have richly enjoyed this book and I look forward to rereading it once a year leading up to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

I try to re-read this book every Elul, with varying success. It's a guided journal, and you're supposed to do a page a day. Usually, I start off well, and then end up missing a few days here and there and get behind. But I'm ready to try again this year!

I found thus to be appropriately contemplative; however, I was left wanting specific actions to take in preparation. I may try this again next year with renewed focus and intention on taking it to the next level.

I made this book a part of my daily preparation for the year 5777. Reading and journaling with the prompts helped me continue to focus on my journey to the New Year and beyond.
