Johnny Gruelle was an American artist, political cartoonist, children's book author and illustrator (and even songwriter). He is known as the creator of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy. He had such confidence in his design that often he would create the final ink work without first sketching in pencil.

(Another favorite for 2023)

I needed this sweet little book. I was at my favorite little used book store when I saw it. I was meant to be there today because I got this and some other things that I didn't even realize I wanted! I was going to give this to my mom but I changed my mind (sorry mom lol). I got a journal for her too (sshh, don't tell her lol). That, I'll give to her for maybe her Bible study times or if she journals. Whatever she chooses to use it for. This though, will be staying with me. <3
