Very simplistic. Good brief introduction to sensory integration at the beginning. However, most of the activities proposed as non-messy are made so by doing them in a pool, on a sheet or other easy cleanup methods. They aren't actually easy to set up and cleanup. There also wasn't very much explanation along the way as to what systems the activity involves or why. 101 Games and Activities for Children with Autism, Asperger's, and Sensory Processing Disorders was much better.

A good basic overview in the intro, and then a laundry list of activities organized by sense.
