When I began reading “Demons & Spiritual Warfare”, my first thought was “sheesh, Ron Phillips is smart!” Then the next thought was, “every single Christian needs to read this!” This book is chock full of information, details, and wisdom. I am reading it for the second time and have already began finding details that I didn’t ingest the first go round. I have a feeling if I read it a third time, the same thing would happen again.

Ron Phillips has brought to light many details that have been misund

One of the best spiritual warfare books I have read. It is imminently readable especially for the beginner. It does not read like a text book but rather a guide to learning how to help intercede in the battle against satan and his minions in our everyday life. North America is one of the places where demonic spirits are not really a part of basic beliefs, they are treated like cartoon characters instead of the very powerful ex-angels that they in reality are. We need to be more careful of how we ...more

This book is a study guide to help the Christian to be able to discover the demons of the world and how to combat them. The author has some interesting theories about what demons are and what type of damage they can cause that you would never think about. Some of the issues that he states are caused by demonic influence is more complicated than they are being caused by the devil.

Excellent read and a better understanding what the Bible teach about Satan's ultimate plan and how it operates.

I’ll start by saying there were many good points. There was a lot of truth, and I believe that Christians today do too often overlook the spiritual realm and don’t take warfare seriously. With that said, I do have a couple problems with the book that kept me from giving it a higher rating:
1. PROOF TEXTING. There were so so many times where I read a cited passage and could not figure out how in the WORLD it proved the authors point. And that’s aside from the fact that many of them were taken out

Awesome book! I loved it and it puts things in perspective on how truly unaware we are as individuals! But when you get into the habit of educating yourself, your spirit of discernment can pick up on those things so much quicker because you catch the attack before it hits or at its most subtle state and you are able to counter it! Ohhh, I love God and the way he reveals things to me!!!!!

“The spirit of the Antichrist is at work in our nation. This spirit denies the deity of Christ and stands against everything we believe in. It breeds lawlessness and the breakdown of society. Secular humanism is the polite name we give to this spirit of error.” 2 likes
“I think of the childhood story of the scorpion and the frog. The scorpion asked the frog to carry him across the river. The reluctant frog, fearing the death-dealing sting, tried to politely decline, but he was finally convinced by the eloquent words of the scorpion. In the middle of the river, the scorpion stung the frog. "Why did you do that? Now we will both die!" cried the frog as he felt the poison sear through his body. The scorpion answered, "But it is in my nature to sting.” 0 likes
