I enjoyed the castle and it's history. But, I was disappointed by the romance aspect, especially the daughter. Seemed very rushed and not very credible. Normally enjoy her books, but lacked very much with the daughter and her beau. The daughter was a good character, so was disappointed.

It is a romantic novel that transports readers to a fairytale world of castles and countryside, woven with themes of love and compassion. The story follows the beautiful widowed mother, Lady Susi Sherington, who faces a terrible dilemma while staying in Paris and attending endless smart parties.
