I'm not sure why but for some reason this one didn't quite have a "Three Investigators" feel to it. It wasn't bad, a mystery revolving around a bank robbery and paintball, with the usual twists and turns. The Crimebusters series always has seemed a step behind the original series but in this case it was something more than that.

Still a good read, and Crimebusters is better than no Three Investigators series at all.

One of the better more modern stories in the series.
Was never much keen when they made the investigators into, cars, girls and they all got jobs.
I understand that they are just characters but that was not in the original series of the book.
They were meant to be a little childish Famous five style.
Them growing up spoilt it a little as the characters in my opinion got more arrogant.
As i said though the storyline was a lot better in this one.
