Writing and Being: Taking Back Our Lives Through the Power of Language
Believing that writing is the doorway to our most creative and spiritual self, Professor Nelson lays out a careful, step-by-step approach to entering the river of writing by starting with a personal journal and expanding the process into works for public sharing. Included are guided explorations on writing from the heart, and writing as a pathway to knowing yourself.

Wonderful! He teaches how to tap into the depths of our soul through journaling and write to draw out what we're learning.
This book is lent to me by a friend and I'm in love with his writing and insights. It has been invaluable with helping me to become better in writing. I've ordered a copy of my own so I can reread it over and over when I'm finished (half-way through on page 67).
** Got my own copy and finished reading it. It's the type of book I will read again and again working through the process of journaling in my own life. I think it's a valuable resource with which to grow and learn to tune into myself and become the person I came here to be.**
