Sally Ride:Shooting for the Stars, is a good book. It talks about Sally Ride becoming the first American women to space. The book talks about her childhood, her struggles and challenges, her influences, and her accomplishments. It also talks about her voyage to space and how she dealt with living there. The book is amazing and I will definitely try to model my actions after her because all of the amazing facts I have read about. I will recommend this book to anybody who is into powerful people who have changed the world and love learning about the past.

In the book sally ride shooting for the stars is about how sally grew up and who we know today sally was a important role motale for women because she prove that women could do any thing. This book, "Sally Ride" takes the reader on the life journey of astronaut Sally Ride. She was the first woman astronaut to fly in space. Sally Ride shares with the reader the breath taking experience of being an astronaut. I would use this book in my classroom when teaching about women in history or just a simple space lesson.
