Rate this book
Imagine disobeying the ruler of Egypt to save your baby brother's life! That's exactly what Moses' older sister Miriam did knowing all the while that her own life might be at stake as well. Little did she know that this one act of disobedience would change the whole course of events for the children of Israel!

Through the eyes of Miriam, experience first-hand the nightmarish life of the Israelites as they struggle as slaves to the cruel Egyptians. Only the hand of God can deliver a people from bondage to freedom, from despair to hope, from no land of their own to one flowing with milk and honey.

so this is a cute little relgious book I picked up and read and it was a good book..it is meant for kids but who cares..it tells the story of Miriam who was the big sister to Moses who brought the slaves from out of Egypt a long long time ago..she chose to protect and pray for her little brother's protection after the King of Egypt wanted every baby boy born to the Hebrew people killed..so they put him in the Nile river and along came the king's daughter who saved him and raised him as her own..thanks to Miriam she helped save his life and got to to see him raised and become a man of God and was with him when he parted the red sea..enjoy

Mostly good!

This book has the most CURSED illustration of baby Moses!
1. He’s naked with butt cheeks flying
2. He’s drawn like a tiny naked adult man that his sister is tossing in the air, making eye contact with… questionable… parts of his anatomy.
3. Why is his neck like that!?
4. Why does baby Moses have a three-stooges style Bowl Cut!?!

Yeah, I have to remove that from my church library because I am NOT explaining all that to my pastor!!
