In this Diego book; they are celebrating Halloween and also teaching the listener-reader about bats and things they like and things they eat; how they 'listen' etc. And in teaching those issues the child helps rescue some Llamas.

It is what it is---a Diego book about Halloween. The environmental aspect is the addition of the fruit bat. Not a readaloud for library environment...better off at home with Diego fans.
