The counting by two's part was nicely done, but the cow was such an annoying jerk that I couldn't really enjoy the story.

Shelves: math, animals
-a fun book about counting by two's
-i like how there are many different names for 2: pair, twosome, team, duet, couple
-the cow was not very nice, so at the end she got off the bus..
-count by 2's to 20
-can be used for a math activity and also to learn new vocabulary for 2, as mentioned above
-the book also gives a few suggestions on different games that can be played for math

Great book. The cow messes up the count of the trolley since she didn't come in a pair. Then she boots all the passengers up onto the roof of the trolley by her "mooove over". Fun read aloud. The additional math fun in the back of the book too.

I don't think this book will teach my kids to count by 2s, but it is cute and they enjoy it. It is nice to see a bully receive her comeuppance even if she doesn't see it herself.

A counting book. I found it a little bit annoying. I don't think I will be using it for storytime any time soon.
