Slow Start… Intense Ending

This book started off really slow for me. I actually put it down for a few months about 40% through. Picked it back up months later. Still a little slow reading but somewhere around the 50% mark, it peaked my interest to where I wanted to continue reading it. I am looking forward to reading the second book in the series!

The story was OK but too many of the twists were predictable. I figured out Simone's parentage early on as well as some of the other situations. Overall it was an OK story with a nice pace.
