Control Freak: Brandon's Story by Reena Jacobs is a erotic short story. It tells the story of married couple Brandon and Regina. They are a happily married couple of two children and life is good for them except for one slight problem, Regina is a control freak but only in the bedroom.
She is constantly thinking of ways for Brandon to be more sexually aggressive, but Brandon doesn't want to feel like he has to take it in order to receive a climax so he thinks of alternative routes for satisfaction but those thoughts never come to fruition because Regina is always there to catch him.
Finally after holding out for so long Brandon decides to give in not only to his own temptation but what his wife yearns for and that is for her to taken control of and not holding back what he wants and once he checked his pride to the floor as with his pants the two rides off into sexual bliss. Erotica fans will enjoy this short story because there was a storyline and excellent plot execution which made for a easy and quick read.
Control Freak was a quick and sexy story, fans of erotica and sexy role playing will definitely enjoy the author’s realistic storyline but filled with a juicy plot to keep you engrossed. The only downside as that it was a short story but the author definitely did her job of making you want more, so I look forward to reading more from this author.

The Control Freak series by Regina Jacobs is based on an intriguing premise....that of a segment of a married couple's life told from each individual's perspective. Because of this unique premise, it makes more of an impact to read them together, but they can definitely be read on their own though.
First up is Brandon's Story written from the male perspective and is the weaker of these two stories in my opinion. Brandon comes off as unlikable and a bit infantile in his actions. He complains quite a bit about his wife Regina and with moments like that it's hard to believe they're a happy couple. He describes their sex drives as completely opposite where he seems overwhelmed by her desires. He expounds so negatively on her heightened sex drive that I'm surprised he didn't call her a slut. Even when they finally come together it still feels like they're at odds. The sexual interlude is steamy but felt more like a battleground than a loving sexual expression. From Brandon's viewpoint, his wife is a shrew and he's constantly mistreated and emasculated by her. Incidences like these took away from my belief in their feelings for one another and the future of their marriage and lessened my overall enjoyment of the story.

Whereas, Brandon doesn’t know if he can perform up to her expectations, nor does know if he wants to. Finally, after several days of enduring Regina’s relentless prick-teasing, Brandon takes the upper hand.
Yes, this is a short story all right, 10 pages. This is written from Brandon’s POV, which I enjoyed very much. I liked the banter between Regina and Brandon: She would push his buttons; he would squirm.
As a note, this is not a romance, but an erotic short story. As the couple is married, it does have an HEA. However, when I see the words “bondage” and “masochism” in a book blurb that is what I am expecting. What I read was more of a “slap and tickle”. In spite of this, I expect to see more of Ms. Jacobs writing in the future.

The overall story was about eleven pages long and it was free so as the old saying goes you get what you pay for; although I've come across some free books that were actually quite good and which made me want to purchase more from the author.
Sadly, this wasn't one of those times.
I'm all about characters whether they are heroes or villians. I just didn't care about Regina or Brandon for the simple fact that the story wasn't fleshed out enough to get an idea of who they were. There's a part two from Regina's POV and which should have been a part of the overall narrative rather than a separate story. The rest of the "book" was dedicated to an upcoming shifter story by the same author.
All I garnered from the story was Regina wanted to introduce BDSM elements into their relationship and hubby Brandon wasn't interested, so she pulls a Lysistrata on him (save that Lysistrata didn't run around naked in spite of having two teen girls and a little boy). The ending sex scene just came off as contrived. Of course Brandon was going to give in...duh.

Quick, to the point, and a fun read. This story was in Brandon's point of view. He is like any other guy, will take sex when he can, however Regina his wife loves it and always wants it. She has a demand from Brandon and has decided to with hold sex until he does this for her. Its a story where we see how long until Brandon gives into her wants that he isn't quite sure he is into. As I stated above, this book is about a 10-15 minute read. Its very short. I look forward to the second book in this series, Regina's story. Mainly because there was one demand in this book at the beginning that didn't get touched on again (she requests for him to read the book she wrote but it never gets touched on again), so I am curious on her thoughts of this in her story. I would also like to just get into her head a little more, she was a very unique character in Brandon's story.

This is a quick read about a bratty wife needs a good spanking. I felt badly for the husband. He's a sweet vanilla guy who just needs a little loving. She's a sexual blackmail...or basically like the wives I hear about. She holds out on sex until she gets her husband to do what she wants. I say he follows up with a good caning to her ass after he reams it with his cock.

Short but sweet--er, make that sexy! A bit of role reversal in this story about a not-so-dominate husband learning to find happiness (or at least a night of passion!) with his dominate wife. I will be checking out the author's novel. :)

3.5 Short, but sexy story. I liked the male point of view. Wish it would have been longer. I think this could have gotten a lot more interesting with a few more pages...hehehe. Would love to read more about Brandon. ;)

Not a bad steamy short little read. It's a different dynamtic which is nice for a change, the wife always wanting some but the husband not feeling the urge.

not really impressed by the content of the story. very graphic in voice. if there was other stuff going on in the story, then it would have been ok. Bedroom scene. free kindle.
