The recipes in this little cookbook are authentic Amish recipes. I picked this up because I really enjoy reading Amish fiction and am always intrigued by the recipes and dishes described in these kinds of books. Maybe with this cookbook I can now try out some of the recipes. There are no pictures of the food in this book ( which I would have liked, as I find it helpful when I am trying to envision what the finished product will look like).

I’m glad this was free the recipes are disgusting sounding. I’m defeating it off my library. Some others may like it however. I wish it told the recipes that were in it first.
